    posted a message on Default Water?

    For some reason, most of my water defaulted and saved, so now Agria, Avernus, Braxis Alpha, Haven, Haven Creep, Korhal, Meinhoff, Tarsonis and Xil all have the same (Default) clear water. Anyone have a fix for this? And if not, can anyone list the stats for each? I know it's a pain... thanks.

    Very cool, I like the Health Bar/Energy Bar window, the center stats frame, and the idea of the progress bar for the XP. I'm not crazy about the two frames on the left and right, will they be used for something in the future? Or do they do anything now? And the two progress bars for enemy health are a tad redundant, but it seems mostly aesthetic.

    I didn't figure anyone would do a Zerg place of worship, and I've never done a map on Char or Redstone, so I tried an Overmind worship on Redstone. Really could have done more with this, but I think you get the idea. :)

    I was looking for the same thing (which led me to this thread)... if you haven't figured it out yet, I think what you're looking for is in the Data Editor under Terrain Texture Sets. Find the planet you're working on, and change the fog values. No triggers this way... this is how Blizzard achieved the look in many of their maps (ie: Zeratul mission Echoes of the Future)

    EDIT: As a side note, you can also edit the gravity in this section... lol

    That's what I was thinking; in order to cut down on excess loading times, or ridiculous unit count, potential errors, etc. Why not just divide the map into regions, and load up the invisible drones if x amount of players are in the region. Or trigger them at certain points in the game and remove others.

    Without explaining it in triggers, what exactly are you trying to do?

    When any Baneling enters within x distance from a certain type of unit.... I got that far. What do you want the action to be?

    Maybe a bit of a workaround, but one of my screen buttons looks like this:

    Dialog - Display button 1 of size (140, 65) with text "Skip" at Center of screen with offset (-500, 130)  (run "Skip Pressed" when button is clicked)
    

    Inside the "Skip Pressed" trigger (or whatever trigger runs when the button is pressed) I would have all the conditions to check.

    Not to knock the internet dating crowd cause I know it works for some people... but in my opinion unless there's a reasonable chance for success (ie: you two moving closer to one another or an unusually strong commitment over long distance) then I would just stay friends and don't bother telling her. Or tell her without the expectation of her reciprocating and anything becoming of you two. Long distance relationships can be torturous.

    As for my story right now - I haven't really got a sad story. I'm back to university, taking Global Development Studies (mixture of economics, politics, history, mostly relating to the Third World), I live with my girlfriend, we're planning a trip to Cuba when her brother comes home from Afghanistan in November/December and I'm working full time at a casino. lol I have had rough times in my life but who hasn't? You've got to joyfully participate in the sufferings of the world. :)
