We are still looking for help. If you've played the WC3 Element TD, can be a regular forum user, will brainstorm new ideas, able to provide feedback on betas, and use IRC (this last one not required but a bonus)...then please get in contact with me or post here.
Element TD, was that the TD map where you needed to set 5 stones and could only pick one? You were also able to merge stones together or have slates? And on lvl 25 you had a boss run and also at the end?
Please say yes....
If so, you are a God. I would do anything to help you out! even get a drink and fax it!
Else, well, we'll see how much fun this will be.
No, that is Gem TD. This might refresh your memory...
There will be a beta phase before we release to the public. As we get closer to that, I will start a general beta recruitment thread. However, if you have experience from WC3 then you may be recruited now.
Oh, I see.I didn't realize that, sorry! In my experience, even if you have a doctorate in computer science, making something fun is still the hardest part.
The creep and ability scaling allow us to maintain near 100% balance across all factors, leaving the game to be decided on skill and teamwork.
Please understand that it takes a long, long time to properly balance a game with at least a decent amount of depth. Now I assume you guys have a fair amount of content, which means that you are most certainly not anywhere close to 100% balance across all factors. In fact, 100% balance is never reached by the vast majority of games. Though, I do understand you were trying to hype your map so sorry to spoil the party.
You have a terrainer, designer, and triggerer - what exactly do you do yourself?
Seems the first post is a bit misleading without the position descriptions. The "designer" is actually the web guy who is taking care of the website. The game design will be handled by me. So my job is to make sure this thing is fun, in more ways than one (doing the management too).
I finally decided to jump on the bandwagon. Element TD will be coming to SC2!
This won't be a new game. This will be an evolution of a proven concept. No stone will go unturned in harnessing the power of the new editor. I'm looking forward to doing things that couldn't be done in WC3.
But...I can't do it alone. I'm putting together a team to make this a reality. Please see below and email me at admin@*#*#*.com (eletd) if interested;

No idea what to do with that information.

This bonus unit is great...but it doesn't have any animations really. I'm looking for someone to add a walk and spell (for build) animation to him.

Someone remembers Tropical Tag!? Glad you enjoyed the map! I will keep that in mind for the future.

This thing is a black box and regardless of what I select in the palette it does not give me a preview of it.
Help!?
