    I cannot figure out how to make Spider Mines targetable after they unburrow. It seems that default settings make them invincible once they are on route to an enemy unit. I'd like to make it possible to destroy them. Any ideas?

    posted a message on Team Colors Question/Request

    Hey everyone, I'd like to add Raynor (sniper) and Kerrigan into my Custom Game as heroes, but am running into the problem of team colors-basically that they always retain their default coloring, regardless of player. Now I know absolutely nothing about the models portion of the data editor, along with anything related to graphic design. That being said, I would guess the easiest way (and one that would work well for my purposes) to do it would be to have 6 different Raynors and 6 different Kerrigans, all with differing colors (one color for each player). Though of course the ideal would be to add areas on the models that change based on the owner's color.

    If someone could walk me through any of these processes, or even create (or have created) the models I'm trying to make, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

    posted a message on Couple Easy (Hopefully) Questions

    Hey everyone, I'd really like to add some Heroes from the campaign into my map, but I'm getting a couple little problems:

    1. Heroes automatically have a little portrait/health thing come up in the bottom-right of the screen (which I'd like to get rid of).

    2. All Heroes of the same type have the same color scheme, regardless of player.

    So, does anyone know how to fix either of these little problems? I know absolutely nothing of the artistic part of the data editor, so if you know how to fix the color scheme issue, you'll have to include a lot of detail or point me to a person/place that explains it thoroughly.

    posted a message on Map testing group, anyone?

    I'd definitely like to help out. Unfortunately, when I put my map together, I made it P1-P3 vs P4-P6. Because of the weird game variance behaviors, I basically need to have at least 4 players to actually test it, though it would take a full 6 to check for balance issues.

    posted a message on Lobby teams don't match map team definitions

    I wish I could add something other than my own frustrations to the discussion, but I can't say anything positive about the way Blizzard has this set up. I'm having the hardest time even playtesting the map I'm putting together since I only have one person available to help me test it and I haven't for the life of me been able to put him and i on separate teams. Perhaps more trial and error is the answer, but if anyone knows how to do something as simple as that, please post it! It's a small start, but I think it'd probably turn out to be somewhat helpful to the overall discussion.

    I've also had some trouble organizing tests for my custom map. If you add/find me (screenname: "rut"), i'd love to help you out. Afterwards, if you want to help me with mine, that'd be great! (I'm usually on late in the evening, around 11:00-ish Mountain Time on the US server.)
