Not looking at the editor right now, but you probably need to give the actor the event for the animation bracket for attacking like the normal marine has.
I was just messing with it, you must be using timer windows. Yeah it doesn't look you can put only specifically the timers on show, from what I can tell.
One thing you could do is create a dialog instead, since they aren't affected by Hide Game UI, then just put a Label Dialog Item on it and have a trigger that periodically updates that label to display the timer every second or so. As far as I can see there isn't an easier solution, since you can't specifically hide all the game UI, nor specifically show the timer window.
What's that structure to the right with orange stuff? Looks like something from Metroid almost. I also did that same thing with making a Raven portrait as a person on a computer on my map, I feel unoriginal now. XD
All in all it looks pretty neat though.
I was wondering this same thing a week ago. Looked for about an hour to see if there's a way to detect the resolution of the player...there isn't. Can't detect any of their preferences, for that matter. So eventually I was just like 'screw it' and if people can only play on the lowest resolution then I guess they're missing out.
The dialog option thing is probably the best bet, but I imagine the average idiot won't even know his current resolution.
I believe there's a pretty big difference between the popularity of this fangled thing called "Trackmania" and Starcraft 2.
And having an editor that makes it easy to make maps isn't necessarily a good thing. Starcraft 2's editor takes a lot of patience from my experience, (Yet it can create some pretty amazing things) and this will weed out those who are weak in their determination.
Yes, either add far clip to camera or make the map as small as the actual terrain you have there, that way it doesn't have to load all the unused terrain. A far clip I'd recommend would be somewhere from 50-70, that should increase FPS to a playable rate.
Changing the weapons to non-instant did not decrease the lag by any noticeable amount.
I am certain it is the view distance because I can turn the camera straight down and get about 40-50 fps, but if I turn the camera over the landscape it goes to about 15 or less fps. I also have my own third person system and have experimented quite a bit with this, and turning the view distance down / enabling far clip helps tremendously.
Can normal maps be automatically be created with programs or do they have to be made by hand? I'm assuming they define what parts are shiny and such...as you can tell I haven't looked into it too much, although I probably should.

Magus and Ranger seemed a bit anti-climatic, but otherwise a pretty nice video.

The timer windows are your custom dialogs I'm guessing? Just put them on show after you hide all UI.

I never posted much on those forums anyway. Seems Blizzard is really trying to become more like Facebook every day.

Looks a bit like the snake river canyon.

I'd say 10.
Edit: Would be even more fitting if the line at the bottom was turned into a semblance of a mine, if these are custom icons.

He won't be until Wings of Liberty release.
