    @TacoManStan: I do not know why you think this is a troll post... I'm just beginning to work with triggers and was too tired to be able to explain my problem carefully.

    @sandround, hunterx3: Your solution would mean extremely much work, as I got 80 units that need to be checked. And I guess one region for the whole unittype would not do the trick.

    Isn't there some condition I can use to simply check if units are in range 3.0 (actual number does not matter atm) to any supply depot (as an example).

    Hi Guys, I need help for a trigger... once again. I am unable to create this condition to fire the trigger:

    Fire trigger when no unit is in the vicinity of that unit type.

    Well, I want that trigger to run when there is no unit, which can be any unit, nearby to a specific unit type. not only one unit, but one type. Do I have to make this via unit groups? But then, does this one particular unit from this unit type respond to that trigger, even if other units of the group do not match the condition (=units are nearby)? I am too stupid to figure that out by my own... :/

    Hi guys, I am being barraged by this problem lately: The Messages Window pops up and gives out the Warning - Missing String:

    Since it warns me every thirty seconds and therefore changes the current active window automatically, it is very annoying. I do not know what I did the other day to make this problem appear, or maybe it occurred after the release of patch 1.2... I really do not know.

    The only thing I want to know is: How can I calm the Messages window and solve the problem.

    Hi guys, I was wondering how one can extract the sound files of Starcraft 2 using the editor. I found the archive browser which lets me extract one sound at a time, but not all at once (even though you can select more, only the first selected item is extracted). Is there an easier way?

    For everyone asking: I wanted the files to goof around with them in music programs like reason.

    @petrov1: Even with count set to -1, it does not work... yet the results are quite strange, as it will work only if an enemy is nearby.

    @SouLCarveRR Buildings have an effect, that gives unit control over certain command posts, if they are built in the vicinity. The requirement is, that no allies and no enemies are nearby. Without the validator, the effect works perfectly.

    If I add the validator, _nothing_ happens any longer. Not if one of my own buildings is nearby, not if one of mine and a hostile building is near, not if multiple of my buildings are near...

    It just does not make any sense to me %)

    I have a problem (once again): My enumerate area validators do not work as I want them to. Yet, I can't figure out what is wrong with the way I configure them. My goal is:

    Fire effect if no enemies and no allies are nearby.

    Could you help me out? btw, Blizzards own Validator (no enemies nearby) does not work either.

    Wow, thanks for the help both of you, you helped very much. I could not answer the last days cause I was rather busy with work. @uiasdnmb: Yes, my knowledge is mainly data-editor based... I proudly claim I know certainly about 5% about this hellish tool^^
