Not sure I understand what you mean by "both at the same time". The program is not modifying how or which locale your map will use (if that's even possible). It just takes the text from the locale you choose as Primary and copies in "into" all the other locales, making them "equal".
Use SC2 Localizer whenever you're sharing the map with others. Don't leave Primary Localization on Auto, choose the locale you're using (it uses that one to mirror it to other locales).
I've been using it for a long time and haven't looked back. Blizzard's locale options are just... weird and useless.
I need feedback on a some terrain I've been working on. It's New Gettysburg from Starcraft 1, re-imagined according to the cinematic from SC2.
The original map was built with the space platform tileset, possibly because Blizz didn't have a "ruined city" tileset ready :P Or they changed their minds between the two games... Either way, It's pretty established now that New Gettysburg wasn't a friggin space platform :P
In case you don't remember what the objectives were: Kerrigan has to *defend* the zerg base against protoss attacks, and ultimately destroy both protoss bases.
I made this map a veeeery long time ago and have been tweaking it now and again, but always felt that it's still isn't there... and honestly I've ran out of ideas for it ;[
Anyway, if you'd like to give feedback: watch the cinematic, check out the picture of the original map and then open my map in the editor (or in-game, gives a better feeling).
Here's a little overview of the map:
lighting/fog - they're supposed to look like in the cinematic, and I think they do, but also make it a bit hard to see stuff (especially in the protoss bases)
rubble - did I go overboard with all the ruined buildings/cars/etc?
top protoss base - supposed to be on top of a ruined shopping center (credit for the idea goes to the SCReborn team :D)
bottom protoss base - In a "hole", surrounded by rubble
zerg base - no idea how to make it more menacing and "zergish', but nobody will be going up there anyway...

I'm interested in *feedback*, that means something like:
Look at the top of the page, there's Maps, Assets, Authors, Teams. Wouldn't it make sense to add a Tutorials section there that would function like the other ones? The tutorial listing is nice, but people often forget to add theirs to the list and the tutorial eventually gets lost on page 42 or something.
Users could also have a link (and a counter) under their avatar, leading to all their tutorials (exactly like maps/assets). No more fuss with signatures or making separate posts just to list all your tutorials.
You guys do realize that that this can be cheated because battle.net names aren't unique, right? There would have to be a way to check the player's bnet ID, and that's not possible right now.
Passwords are an even worse idea because you can simply open the map in the editor and check what that password is. Hashing might work (only the hash of the password is stored in the map file), if it's even possible to use/create hash functions in galaxy.
And why would you need these cheat codes inside your own map anyway?
You have exactly 2 minutes to upload any map with the editor before you get the gateway error. Go ahead and check it with a stopwatch or something. I guess Blizzard has the right to put a timeout like that, they did say "broadband internet" in the game requirements... They didn't consider a cheap-ass ISP that cuts corners everywhere and sets the upload limit to 32MB/s, like mine :/

Seriously... why won't they release the stupid thing? I'm so tired of doing trial and error to get anything in the data editor working...
Is this "hint" a new thing? Got it while copying a unit from one map to another. Never seen anything like it before.

Most of the music is in the base.SC2Assets file.
The jukebox music is somewhere else, don't remember where.

Wow, this still hasn't been solved? :S
Doesn't work, or I'm doing it wrong.

So, has anyone posted this on the US forums? ;(

I've made a topic about it on the EU tech support. Could someone interested in the issue make one on the NA forums?
Not sure if they'll give a damn, since the editor is not supported, but it's always better to try :P

I don't think Blizzard considers this an issue or bug, it's a feature: get a better internet of GTFO :/
