My custom model works fine in max and in the editor but the texture dosen't show. i know that maybe many people have asked this before but hell i need help. i've made a starcraft 2 shader and assigned it to my model and i made the the path correct still nothing
how many polys do you have now? you can have more the 3k poly if your map is gonna contain just a few unit(no mass army) how many are you planning to have at the same time?
looks a bit too high poly and a bit to square, the side of the leg looks good but the other angles dosen't look round or organic. like a said too square
And your arrogans hurts me. why would it be so impossible that someone would want to make a dark/evil version of the protoss. maybe you're righ... OR maybe not. and not think that i don't know about the dark archon in sc1, that's why i mention it jackass
maybe but the thing that will do it is have both the parts of the leg equally long. because now it looks like the lower part of the legs are longer the upper ones. you should upload a profile view of the mech

Only 714? yeah you are fine, the heaviest sc2 unit in the actuall game are about 3000 polys.

poly count looks good, no need to weld together anything. and the same thing as the other guys, a little more round ass then you are good.

it between 1-3k and you never poly smooth a game model, Poly smooth is pretty much only for hi-poly, ultra realistic CG not in-game models
