My custom model works fine in max and in the editor but the texture dosen't show. i know that maybe many people have asked this before but hell i need help. i've made a starcraft 2 shader and assigned it to my model and i made the the path correct still nothing
Have you tried importing the textures first, then saving, closing the editor, then opening it and importing the actual model? (That's the case with imported wow models anyway) Not sure about fully custom stuff.
I keep seeing this mythical "assets/textures" path mentioned but no one has actually said where the directory is.
Should it be created in the main starcraft2 directory? Should it already exist??
If you have the path zerg/kerrigan/ you need create these folders in your windows / mac os. put the textures/models in the folder.
zerg/kerrigan/ wich means he reads the textures from that folder in the editor.
When you import the complete folder he automaticly creates a folder tree with the textures in the right place
Yeah thats what I figured but I jsut wanted to make sure.
I finally got it working, then screwed it up. I blame it on bugs more then doing something wrong.
