My plan was mostly just obfuscation rather than using encryption or w/e... so my bank saving/loading triggers were extremely confusing to any onlooker... granted I made it pretty hard for even myself to read lol. In conclusion, I obfuscated my triggers AND I obfuscated the saved bank values (though encryption for you is taking care of that).
The other thing I did was save out to multiple banks. For instance, with regards to my map Death Haven, I would save to DeathHavenBank.sc2bank AND to StarBattlesChar.sc2bank (a random name lol) at the same time... so people would go try and edit DeathHavenBank.sc2bank and completely ignore StarBattlesChar.sc2bank... even though i was secretly only loading from the fake starbattles bank. No one could really ever assume that my fake bank was actually tied to my map other than the last modified date of the file...
But in a way it's all useless because they could just open the map like Progammer says. They could just run a trigger to auto-level them and save and then copy that bank file over into the right bnet bank folder.
I never did try the signature protection stuff, so not sure if that would help with ^
All in all, your average person will not be able to perform these 'hacks'.
It was funny because the North Koreans showed them stuff like bottling plants, because this was an accomplishment for them (and something worth showing).

Ultimately, even if a blue-collar low wage worker becomes president, they'll only have gotten there because they caved into corporate money to be able to get enough exposure to thus be voted in. You need millions in ads to be a house-hold name... or you can just quote the pokemon movie and eat black walnut ice-cream.
Edit: To Hookah... have you ever watched Departures? It's a Canadian show but it's spreading to US/world channels as we speak. Really good travel show, and they have an episode in North Korea. Quite interesting to watch them be chaperoned around the country (and see a different side of it). Kind of sad to see perfectly normal people trapped in a system ><
It won't really matter, if they actually waged war it'd be over pretty fast. Honestly, I think they will get with the program and open up a bit. A lot of countries now are moving forward and not clinging to stubborn old rulers who want to control everything. It's a shame so much of our world is strictly patriarchal societies, as I think women are much more responsible (3/4 of the month!) whether it's with budgets or morals. Too many old men running this world eh?
With regards to Obama, as a Canadian, I like him. He does seem smart and I'm not joining the hate bandwagon that seems to be popular lately. It could be a lot worse, regardless of who's 'bought by the corporations' or w/e. Well it was a lot worse, cough cough 8 years past.
I despise that SC font lol. Whoever made it has been spreading an incorrect font all these years. That's why me and Prozaic made our own letters for Starcraft Universe. But we (well maybe Prozaic is) are not skilled enough nor have the patience to remake the whole font. Blizz needs to share !!
Compare that font to the STARCRAFT letters on the OP's images... it's quite different.
Anyway, I tried to have the fonts analyzed on what-the-font, but it came up with no matches :(
Edit: Here's 2 fonts I had on my comp, might have been from sc2 mpq... i forget... but anyway they might be getting closer to what you want?

Hey, about the hero roles thing, you should check out Enfo's Hero Survival if you haven't yet (Warcraft 3 map). Might give you some good ideas :)

I think it was also smart of you to pick SC2, because you (and us here in general) might be ahead of the curve come Arcade time. Meanwhile the Apple app store is overpopulated with 999999999999 apps. Though it should be noted that Apple won't reject you based on your game content unless its porn... but (I'm guessing) Blizzard will be a lot harder to get approval on. ALSO, there's tons of people willing to work for near nothing on sc2 maps because it's their passion (and good quality mappers too) :)
I can tell you from my own experience, you'd be looking at 60-80$ per hour minimum for a decent app developer... nevermind the art and shit... so yeah... :/
Or you can always go with India! lol.
On your point about War3, I found it to be a lot harder than SC2 in terms of managing everything and actually beating other people. More complex to me I guess.
Interesting. I always thought an RTS MMO (in a player controlled world) would be really cool (but super complex)... my guess is that Blizz's Titan is going to be FPS or RTS and will be a player-controlled world. That's really the only way MMO's can progress right now without being grind fest npc battles.
OH... I didn't know 3 was for xbox too. There you go guys. Console port = why it sucked.
Whether or not we like it, a developer who makes a game for PC & Console is ultimately going to make decisions that sacrifice for the PC user. The developer will convince themselves it's okay but in the end everyone can tell. I'm hoping this isn't the true reasons why Blizz is removing skill/stat points from D3, and simplifying tooltips etc... but I'm purely speculating here.
Cool idea but here's my thoughts (similar to zenx1 I guess):
Hard to judge maps of such different genre (under one number rating), right? Like me personally, I've made it well known that I can't stand turn-based text games. As good as Mafia is technically (and it's creator did a great job) I haven't enjoyed it and wouldn't enjoy it but that's just because I don't play those games... for the same reason I would probably not play Debates. Gotta be twitch-based!
So to me a 4.06 could be misleading? I don't know, I guess it's subjective.
