There is basically nowhere else to put these interface elements. Would you prefer the lynch type box to appear on top of or below the role info box?

I guess it was my turn to get one of these. Have I "made it" in the mapping world now?

(Mafia is back up, but lost all its hours on US)

I've decided to just yell out "to hell with it" and lump the chat into the event log. It'll all be there to view at your leisure.

Also, I'm completely trashing the bank signatures; too many problems. For now, the banks are unprotected, but I'll wipe them for version 1.0 and have some AES encryption thrown over them.

Dialogs scale to a proportional 1600:1200 template. Widescreen resolutions in-game offer extra space on the sides.
The chat box is a bunch of labels on top of a bunch of long rectangles, btw.

I can't disable them unless I get Blizzard to sign my map to unlock that functionality (isn't going to happen).

I've uploaded a new version that should hopefully fix this. EU upload coming shortly.

What was the "string error" you mentioned? I have no hope of finding and fixing it if you give me no screenshot or description or the error.

Encryption without bank signatures is absolutely meaningless.

Random can pick masons, albeit rarely. If it picks one, though, it'll usually pick another.

Also, adding a large dynamic probability grid like that would be an ENORMOUS undertaking for me. The current options screen took four solid days of work to do. That feature would be similarly difficult. Plus, there's no screenspace left (try playing on 4:3 and you'll see that every inch is used). But yeah, the random selections we have now will be given more options in the future.

I'm not implementing a full chat log. I'll add page up/down arrows to the chat box at some point in the future, though.

I have a LOT of code set up that uses the player's game color. Finding and replacing ALL of that to a different variable will take a lot of time and will very likely be buggy for 5 versions in before I finally patch up every last message and event in the entire game.

All that and more is now fixed on EU and NA. SEA coming shortly.

Also, the night stuff is not completely done yet, but the environment is now 200% better.

It means a hooker could have been in the game, but the player's don't know. Also, that survivor bug is fixed now. Chat being disabled causes the white border around the chat to disappear, btw.

Heh, you'd be surprised how much time some of those small bits can take up.

Also, any real mafia game hands a win to the Mafia the moment they achieve 50% of the players. I don't do that because there are some rare situations where the Mafia can lose, but there you go.

As for the banks, I have no idea in the slightest why it's resetting for certain people. I'm using them in the same way as I and other mapmakers have always used them.

Edit: It's possible that some people's names are causing their signature hash to break.

It's the anti-stalemate system. If 5 phases go by with no death, the game will end. The mafia win in the event of a tie with the town.

Also: I'm trying to line up a good terrainer for a revamp. But there will definitely not be night-event cinematics.

Also, polishing the terrain / lighting / cinematics really shouldn't take that long. It'd probably take me 10 hours at max, considering how small the map is. It's testing triggers / data editor stuff that takes a long time.

The current terrain took about 10 hours, yes. He's asking for a 30-hour terrain made by an expert.

Also, he doesn't refer to polishing the existing execution cinematics; he's asking for mini-cinematics for everything, which will take a very long time to do.
