Alright, it may just be me now that I think about it...

Think you could try and find and play my map? It's called Mile High

I hope I don't sound to stupid, but in my map status window it says "Melee" and "All melee requirements have been met" but when I publish it, there is no option for 1v1.

What exactly do I have to do to make it a playable 1v1? I have two start locations by the way.

Some of you have already seen my map Mile High:
    http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/project-show-room/2176-mile-high/#p5

The problem I'm facing is a few of the areas need to be extended dramatically, and If at all possible I don't want to be bothered with having to completely redo the entire High yield and large bridge area. Is there a way like in SC1 editors for me to select the part of the map I don't want to have to redo and drag it away or copy it so put back in later?

Yeah I saw that too, I'll be making it a lot longer and narrower. Its like I said, I'm trying to keep this as original as possible but I'm also trying to keep my favorite elements from other maps in this one.

I don't know if this belongs in Brainstorming or here because it's essentially done, just not published yet.

This is my map, Mile High:

The intended effect is to make the map look as if it were floating in the clouds and the landscape is completely man made and setup specifically for a 1v1 skirmish. It's also supposed to resemble some what of a chess board, as if to make the battle seem like it were for pure fun between the competing commanders and to have no tactical advantage in "the scheme of things" for any of the races.

As for the design, I've taken elements from all of my favorite maps and incorporated them into this map. You may notice the Paranoid Android style small bridge and large bridge along with a single expansion furthest away from both starting points. I've also taken the rather frequent elevation changes style from Steeps of War. Other things like expansions with destructible rocks from Kulas Ravine and back entrances with rocks like various 1v1 maps are also incorporated. The rather small size and flat main level are there to try and force players to make at least one early low tier battle and to keep players from simply turtling and then rushing.

So I'll hopefully be able to get a custom 2D skybox made and maybe some 3D clouds and hopefully something to take the place of the filler texture later on. I'll try and upload a beta version of the map sometime this weekend once I can get in SC2 and make sure that it's all working.
