    I think as part of the rules for this you are suppose to share your map anyway. I could be wrong. Just attach it to a post here and I will see about capturing and rendering it to the best my system can handle...lol.

    Ya, you need to have a PC that can handle running the game at Ultra Settings while using some type of recording Software that either compresses the file on the fly or have another program that you can put the raw recording into and render in a compressed format afterward. Hence why I have been doing just such a thing for about 12 people now.

    If you have a system that can do this then there you have it. If not you will probably want to share the map (like everyone else has) so someone else can capture it and render it in HD on your behalf.

    In order to make a video process as HD on Youtube you have to render the video in either a 720p or 1080p format/resolution. It is best to actually capture the video at those resolutions rather than trying to take something that is low res and rendering at a high res. In this case to get 1080p you need a resolution around 1920x1080 and for 720p you want something like 1280x720.

    Current PC Specs:

    • CPU: Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80 Ghz (this is a Quad-Core processor that can mutlithread and act like 8 cores)
    • Memory: 8 GB G-Skill PI+Turbulence DDR3 2200
    • Video: 2x HIS Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 (I usually keep them seperate for the two monitor layout but to capture some of these I switched to Crossfire for a bit).
    • MB: Gigabyte GA-955A-UD4P
    • Along with a BRONZE Certified 1000W Power Supply to power it all.

    I use Fraps to capture the Cut Scene while in game and then I just drop them in Sony Vegas and render them at 1080p "youtube" quality.

    If you want to try and fix the timing feel free I will gladly re-capture and render it if you need me to.

    Also I have created a Playlist on Youtube for all the Cut Scene Entries I could find (I know I am missing one becuase the video is showing up as Private). Please let me know if I am missing anyone's entry. I will update this as new ones come out.

    Glad to hear it devilesk. I guess this will see some more attention since it was posted on the front page O_o. As I asked at the beginning of posting this if there is anyway to improve the guide please let me know. I was working on creating a video tutorial that walked through the current guide but so far that is over an hour long. I still might see about finishing that up and posting it on Youtube but I need to see about getting a better Mic as the quality is pretty bad when I am talking in the videos.

    Finished uploading to Youtube and fully processed. You can watch this at 1080p now.

    That' something odd the Editor does, When you first set the Source I always set it to (None). However once you close out of those windows and go back into them and select those Events again it shows that Plant thing over there. As long as nothing shows up on the left hand side for the Event you should be fine. You can send me the map if you like. It is up to you.

    Uploaded and fully processed. I may be a bit bias since I made a tutorial for a unit that is in this Cut Scene but I like this one. :p

    OK, I think I got all the videos rendered and uploaded for those that have requested it. Please let me know if I have missed you or if you don't like something about the video I have uploaded for you. After seeing all these inspirational cut scenes I might see about making my own. ;)

    To embed a video you want to type the following into your post window:

    <<youtube "VideoID">>

    where VideoID is whatever follows the "watch?v=" portion of your link. So in your case you would do the following:

    <<youtube 8cQ0q6IbsRI>>

    Sorry for the late response. Are all of the tentacles getting stuck in the air or are a only a few of them?

    If all of them are then you probably forgot to add the ::Supporter line in the Target box for the following Events in the UberliskRangeAttackMissile Actors:

    Event: MotionPhaseStart
    Term: MotionPhase
    Action: RefSet Target= ::Supporter, Name= TentacleAttack(add a 2-5 here for the
    respective Actors), Source= ::Self

    Event: ActorDesctruction
    Action: Signal Target= ::Supporter, Name= TentacleRetracted

    If only a few of them are then once again make sure all of the UberliskRangeAttackMissile Actors have that ::Supporter in the target for those Events and also make sure that you added the needed 2-5 to the end of the TentacleAttack line in these Events as well as the following Event in the UberliskSpineCrawlerTentacle Actors:

    Event: Signal.*.TentacleRetracted
    Action: RefClear TentacleAttack(add 2-5 for the respective Actors)

    Captured and Rendered. Being uploaded to Youtube. Will update post when finished. I wish I could actually do the whole cut scene cause I like the part after the crash! :p

    Update: Youtube is slacking off or something. It is still showing that it is processing the video and that it i not Live yet. Not sure what is going on cause even the other videos I have uploaded tonight are till processing for better quality.

    Ok so after deleting it and reuploading it Youtube finally got through the original processing so you can kind of see it now. Finished fulling processing it so you can watch it in 1080p quality. Enjoy!

    Upload complete but still processing for better quality. I would wait so you can watch it in 1080p quality.

    Youtube seems to be taking forever to process these tonight.

    Update: Ok so I remove the video and am uploading it again. Appears there were issues with videos earlier so I am uploading some of these again in hopes they will process correctly. Will update once it is finished.

    Update#2: Ok video is up and fully processed. I would watch this one at 1080 if at all possible.
