Most of you has probably heard of mappers having lag in their maps. But there's something quite unique about the lag I'm working on.
So during the last few versions, lots of people started to have some major lag. So triggers were optimized, loads of unused variables were deleted, triggers with similar triggers were combined into big ones - then whoila! 90% of the player base experienced near-perfect lagless games, smoother than they ever had before. However, what's weird is the 10% of them (specific players) continued experiencing major delays/lags. No, this has nothing to do with their PC, since some of them has powerful rigs.
Characteristically, for these 10%, game starts very smoothly, but slowly and inexorably, the delay/lag builds up progressively throughout the game until it is unplayable. They begin to cause other players to lag as well. The moment they leave the game, other players experienced total lag free games.
I have a unit that that has multiple weapons that can equip. For most of them, I'd want them to auto attack when any enemy comes within range. But what about certain weapons that I want to only fire with manual target?

I'm still looking for a way to attack only when ordered to...this is because there's not enough command card slots left.

There's some options for fog visibility under actors - snapshot, visible, hidden, etc. Will changing snapshot to hidden helps in reducing lag?
