    They are just as aware of the custom mapping scene as they are of E-sports. The difference is that they require completely different approaches given the massive disparity between how people view eSports and Modding.

    I really doubt they do it for us, they just do it for themselves and add it by the way.

    Custom maps should get as much attention as eSports, or maybe even more, considering they intend to make direct profit with them, unlike with eSports, which give with tournaments only.

    Their problem is they don't give a shit about anything. I haven't seen any mapper's suggestions paid attention to.

    The goddamn community is dead, because the ship Blizz sold us sank as soon as the people aboard started rowing. We screamed for help, for some life jackets, and Blizz ignored us, leaving. When people started to drown, Blizz decided to give some "help", and threw us some extra paddles. They left again and didn't even give us time to facepalm properly.

    I'm remaking a similar gameplay, too (though I'm slow as hell and probably won't finish it, it's just pure entertainment rather than a serious project).

    The DNA tester was pretty easy to do: an array with a value for each player. When you use the "detect dna ability" (which in turn can only be used over heroes, units the players use as their character) it checks the value and returns the result with an error percentage.

    Pretty easy code :).

    not sure exactly but do you need to change the minerial and gas images from the lay out file?

    I searched across the data editor, but there isn't anything related to UI there, not even text, so it seems I may need to change the layout or overwrite the images by importing new ones over them.

    Still, I want to know if there's another way.

    What I have is regions around the area I want the unit to bounce on.

    Then, the unit itself has instamove to (current_X_position+Speed_X*sign_X,current_Y_position+Speed_Y*sign_Y).

    When the unit touches one of those regions, a trigger changes the signs. Signs themselves are just 1 and -1.

    Speed variables may be a global thing, allowing me to change speed of all units.

    I'm bad at explaining myself, lol.
