I support this thread. It would be great to have a little tutorial on how to import/export models on 3ds max/starcraft 2 editor. (Is it useful to install the m3 import plugin on 3ds max?)
Firstly, how do you set up a custom menu? (F10 menu-like) I'm only able to set up a box with a title in it with the custom menu dialog. (I mainly want to make a "Choose a mode" menu).
Secondly, have someone figured out how to attach 2 units, for example a Siege tank with a Missile turret on top of it? (Directly with editor)
I hope someone will be able to answer these problems :) .
I would like to know how to make a doodad that units can't pass through. You probably know about these metal walls into the doodads panel, I only want to make them solid with my units so these can't pass through.

Wow I was thinking of doing an hockey map but I'm working on something else right now, it's cool to see someone else doing it.
Good luck :D , I'm now excited to see your work :P

I had the same problem before, just go on the "Pathing" layer (Hotkey: H) and there you go. Just put some path blocking around your doodads.
cheers.

Oh I also have a problem while importing sound files, I dont know how to find them when I use the "Play soundtrack" or "Play sound" trigger.
The format of my files is mp3, maybe I need to convert them?

Hi there,
I have 2 main problems right now with my map.
