Would you mind deleting the 10 posts u made in the last 10 minutes, and putting them into 1 big post? this is called spam. also, it solves your problem.
Ive created 8 buttons (2x4) (500x180 size) to be used as dialog buttons in my custom map. each button done twice, one slightly lighter than the other (highlight). how do I use these (.tga, not sure if that's the right format anyway) as dialog buttons? and also, should I set an alpha channel in photoshop? ty
I wonder who is less objective, people who DO play WoW, or people who don't.
personally I would say get the game, see if you like it (come to my realm Auchindoun lol) and we could do some dungeons together. Ignore the haters, since its probably the most hated game in the world, and get your own opinion, which so many people don't have.
then the haters (most of who never played it themself) would say don't get it. it will consume all your time and kill your friends and you will go to hell etc etc
obviously I can't be constructive either, since it is my opinion (as a wow player) that the people who dont play WoW just because of its bad reputation, are morons. also the 15 dollars per month sound worse than it is. For example, I have an xbox 360. xbox games cost about 65 euro's (wow subscription being 11 euro's p/month) each, and will get pretty boring if you play it for 4 months. then you buy a new game, and play that one for 4 months. while 4 months of wow subscription is only 44 euros. seems cheaper to me.
anyway thats just my opinion, I'd suggest try it out, you can come to my realm if you like and I can help you through some things and answer your questions if you like. Ive seen many people who quit the game just because they couldn't get into raids or whatever and its always nicer to have an experienced 'friend to help you', though personally I think its most fun if your 'real life' friends play the game aswell.
conclusion is that I suggest you do whatever you want to do and don't ask others, since their opinions are rarely objective about this subject
and now: Which posts are constructive and which aren't?! (the list below isn't)
2 - \m/ diablo
3 - k what the hell seriously?
4 - troll (jk lol)
5 - kinda agree rofl
7 - never
8 - no
9 - yes kinda
10 - err... matter of personal opinion I guess, though certainly not as unconstructive as #17 and #8 lol
11 - kinda what Im trying to say
12 - waaait a minute... those are US servers o.O I forgot. do what he said.
13 - rift = aion? 'So maniest WoW killer'
14 - meh

16 - lol true that
17 - notsureifserious.jpg
18 - yeah friends are good m'kay
19 - YESSSSS Someone that is constructive! though inbalance in PvP may kinda drive u crazy
but what I dont understand is WHY is it better to use those thingies, and I really have no clue which of those things I wanna use for making my dialog. atm Ive been messing around abit and Ive got an action definition with X and Y parameters to be used as dimensions for my dialog, but when I put this thing in my trigger it just asks me what the value of X and Y is, so why would I not just make a <Create dialog with width X and height Y> with X and Y as variables then, instead of as parameters? sounds alot less complicated to me...
anyway the basic question is: whats the point? :P
thanks for answering and sorry for my noobness but I couldnt really find any posts about this and the tutorial is kinda outdated so I dont know if anyone is still replying there.
First is titled: everybody loves the host (this was coincidence, not set up):
this one... theres me (shadey), doctor (homerJ) who gets lynched after saving sheriff (o.O) who got killed in the last round by godfather (eduardo). btw, I was pyromaniac (dunno whats it called)
how do I make missiles/unit missiles whatever fly in a perfect 360 degree circle? best way I can think of is by using offset but this way it would look like you have a low framerate?

@Nashadun: Go

does it cost less memory than a loop or something?

Im trying to create my own fully customised dialog, and I believe that for some reason its better to use a function or event definition or action definition and I dont know what else, now I found a good guide about this for anyone interrested: http://forums.sc2mapster.com/resources/tutorials/2051-beginners-guide-to-triggers-variables-arrays-constants/#p16.

imo, when u think back to school, the nostalgia is blocking ur memories, like a rainbow-colored haze.
seriously, go back for a year and you'll want to work again, as if your life depended on it.

maybe its only possible by making an alternate model animation, but Ill try doing it with small intervals in an offset trigger, thx btw :P
