You can always go offline. Regardless, you appear as online in the current state, and people can message you, but you never get to see what was said or say anything back.
This may be tedious, but see which trigger functions were changed with the patch and review your triggers to see if those changes reflect anything you've done. Perhaps revise the trigger or recreate it.
Determination of Winners. Sponsor shall choose the winners from all entrants who have submitted an entry prior to the Deadline. 3 Grand Prize Winners shall be chosen by Sponsor at its sole discretion based upon which entrants submit a Map that is the most fun, compelling, innovative and/or different. The decision of Sponsor is final. Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail within fourteen (14) days thereafter. To claim a prize, winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification.
And I am fairly certain that the winners have to keep that confidential until the winners have been announced at BlizzCon.
I don't think it is a problem to use things from other Blizzard stuff. This doesn't really validate what I said, but the map contest rules said music from any Blizzard game is allowed. I wouldn't see why a Blizzard image or any other asset wouldn't be allowed.
It doesn't look unusual to me. If anything, I'd say increase the intensity of the ambient light on the map, but that affects everything else too, of course.
I don't know if this helps you, but I personally don't use Blizzard's timer for reasons like this.
What I do is make a simple dialog and dialog item label, and set the label to decrease in time each second. If I want to pause the timer, I'll just have something disable the trigger that subtracts time. Additionally, you can make your timer look prettier if you choose.

You could record a video and have it play as a texture on something, such as a monitor screen.

It wouldn't be much of a BlizzCon contest if it didn't do anything with BlizzCon, right?

Are you on low settings?

This seemed to work with my map. All I did was delete everything except:
And of course I renamed it to .SC2Mod.

Do you have a lot of custom assets?
Something you can do is put all the assets, or a lot of them, into a mod. Publish the mod, and use it as a dependency for your map.

I personally wish the game was pure typing, because I'd win.

If you just want them to sit still, remove the Wander ability from them.
I think it's an ability anyway, might be a behavior.

You could use flat water.

It's not like it's a Hollywood film.
