Yeah, sorry about that, just I wasn't sure that if I opened up my own topic, it wouldn't be checked. Thx, I'll post in data from now on.

Ok, so my original idea was to create something like blizzard's rainbow archon, that cycles through tint colors and has attacks that correspond to those. The problem, as I stated earlier, was that the two models, the beam and the portrait, aren't changing tints with the archon.

    Here's my train of thought:

under unit birth for archon, I create the first tint change to red. On actor birth(theoretically at the same time) I create a timer, decaying after 6 sec, that turns the originally red model into a dark gray. After that, the timer repeats itself, turning it back to the red.

    1. How to set up a timer like that

    2. How to set up a portrait that changes with the timer, and how to include the attack beam change with the original archon actor

Again, sorry for the irrelevancy, but this is the only regularly checked forum I know of.

Maity, this is kind of out of the blue, but how do you tint weapons and portraits?

I keep trying to use Actor Creation events for the portrait of an archon and the archon attack beam, and I specify the tint color and everything, but the beam always stays blue along with the portrait.

I couldn't really figure out what thread to post this on, so I went here as this is the thread most regularly checked one by a data expert like yourself

I would prefer not to use triggers or reskin the archon

    SORRY FOR THE IRRELEVANT POST!!!

    @TheAlmaity: Go

Thanks, so therefore expect some more ideas out of me-I hope you like them! Just wondering what types of starmon still need ability suggestions, and/or what zones still need side-quests (obviously not on the epic scale that I was suggesting earlier)and I'll do my best to fit requirements. Note-some of my suggestions might be visual based, so either give me the typing of the starmon/terrain or what it looks like. No screenshots required, though MUCH appreciated and awaited.

You know, maybe I should have looked over the recent developments before I offered to help on a nonexistent matter. It seems you guys are WAAAAAAAY past side-quest ideas, and on the finishing touches before alpha. Sorry! Still, let me know if you need any suggestions for anything. I may not be good At editor, but at least I'm good at making suggestions!!! Thanks, and signing off for the night.

Sorry for the unfinished post- my laptop had a heart Attack:(

Basically what I said was that this is looking awesome, and that I want to do everything my feeble little noobish hands can do to get this done and in some sort of an open beta ASAP, so let me know what I can help you with and I'll try to make it happen ;D

Okay, so I finally turned thirteen, and I was looking over the past posts. Please excuse me for asking this, but wasn't I like, one of the most annoying people to ever comment on this thread?

On a side note, two questions. 1. Are you still accepting side quest ideas 2. What can I do to help progress this quicker, as I'm dying to play it(aren't we all

It was actually my favorite unit too! But I'm not a diehard fan like he is.

Can you guys incorporate some kind of starmon like spiritomb- how you kinda run across a wierd structure but have no idea what it is until you get some kind of mysterious item by working your [cencored] off- and then if you bring that item to the structure that starmon appears?

Also, can you make stones like the ice- and moss- covered rocks how you evolve a starmon by leveling it up in the same area as that rock?

One more thing- make a scary place with awesome, epic music like the distortion world!

Thanks you guys, and I'm really sorry about my friend- you know how they are!

    GIVE ME REAVERS BACK!

    Oh? Were you guys talking?

    Oh hey!

Howsabout somebody sticks in a reaver modeled mechanical starmon- use the portrait model! Sidequest ide... Oh wait- u guys aren't doing those anymore. Well, since all I'm doing here is sitting around lamenting on how bad blizzard is for getting rid of reavers and being annoying, I'm gonna go and- in typical BladeOfAiur fashion- leave and BANG MY HEAD ON MY DESK OVER THE FACT THAT THERE ARE NO REAVERS!!!

Hi, guys, long time no see... Wait... Can I say that through the computer? Anyway, I was wondering two things: 1:Are you guys still taking requests for side stories and/or special events? 2:And are you making one of those cemetery- like places? Yaknow, pokemon tower, celestial tower, old ceatau, lost tower, etc. EDIT: Also, please tell me what, if anything, you are accepting requests for these days.

Ps. Can anyone link me to a good place with elemental model packs?

Hey thanks, maity! If it would really be that complicated then don't worry about it. I understand that you are probably quite comfortable with your move sets already and I actually don't know the answers to most of the questions you asked. By the way, I was thinking that if you were ever going to make a Pokemon style remake I have the perfect evo chain for you for a sequel requiring hots- nuydus destroyer-> Ash worm-> Yagdra With a retex it could work

    Thanks again

Maity, sorry if I didn't explain well enough. Also, in my example, say my opponent's def is 1. (I know that would never happen, but hear me out.) 20/1 and 1/1 are the fractions, right? So you would multiply the twenty on top with the one on bottom to get twenty, and the two ones to get one. Therefore, the resulting fraction would be 20/1 still, and that as a whole number would be 20, making the moves power 20. If you don't see what I'm talking about or it would be too hard to put in, don't mention it!

By the way what I meant by the NPCs gaining levels was if they would gain exp by killing your starmon. It was too easy when the NPCs would'nt gain exp in the main series, but whatever. I will just have to kill lots of NPCs again.

On my final request for this post, I ask will you PLEASE have the character change its outfit after beating the champion? The champions in the original games always had such awesome outfits. And I kept walking around in sweatpants and a tee shirt when the champ had capes and an awesome hairdo. Furthermore it felt kind of wierd throwing out my main legendary when I was dressed like I was going to school.

    Thanks so much!

Hello! Remember me? It's that guy who is always very late on replying to requests. I know that you guys are gonna go ballistic when you hear this, and I know you probably aren't taking requests due to being so close to being finished, but hear me out. Yesterday I had this Idea when I was doing some math homework:

X-cancel- (dark) (this would be a super move for a x- based legendary) takes your defense and turns it into an improper fraction(for example, let's say your starmon's defense is 20. The fraction would be 20/1.) and does the same thing to the foes. Then the move cross-cancels and turns the answer into a whole number, which becomes the move's power.

Cross-force- every time a cross-based move is used, (cross poison, cross chop, x-scissor, x-cancel)multiply the power of that move by 1.5.

If you use these, make sure that at least cross force would belong to a Starmon with at least some relation to the letter x. If you don't use either, I am sooo, sooooooooo soooorrrryyyy for wasting your time. Ps. Will opponents starmon level up with exp? I always hated that you were the only one who actually leveled up their pokemon.
