I'm making a 15 Player map. Did anyone experience any kind of problems when replacing Player 15 (Hostile)'s player slot from "Hostile" to "User"? Is it safe to go ahead or are there some game-environment rules on Player 15 that I need to be careful of?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Clarified the question a bit
Not that I'm aware of. Any player slot can be set to "Hostile"; it's just that Player 15 is the default "Hostile" slot that the game uses for maps, like how Player 0 is the default "Neutral" slot. Go ahead and use Player 15.
Argh, I can't find out the event that creates that green indicator on the ground/terrain. I couldn't find it in that Siege Tank campaign map either. Anyone have a clue where else it can be found, or know how to create it?
Heya, does anyone know how to recreate that green marker/indicator on the ground? It's done in the campaign, to show you where to deploy your siege tanks, if I'm not wrong. Looks like a greenish squarish thing.
Or you could try pressing the spacebar once in the rank field - that might work too. That way it's not totally blank so the rank won't default to "Recruit".
Use the effect - modify unit and replicate the Vulture - Replenish Mines (Modify Mines charge count) to do this. You may have to add dependencies to find this effect, but it replenishes charges.. You can easily call this effect via triggers or by data editor once you understand how it works.
Setting the value to a non-negative one will cause it to remove charges.
Yes! Finally a great answer! Thank you so very much! =)
I managed to get Hail of Lead working too, but the icon is grey in colour, not the usual green of passives and abilities. The "Tint By Race" box is checked, and I am using the Terran race, so why is the icon not coloured in?
It's set as Command Type: "Passive", Requirements: "(None)", and Behavior: "Tychus Commando - Hail of Lead Dummy".
The wierd thing is that if I insert the version of Tychus that starts with the Hail of Lead ability into the map, HIS icon will be colourized, while my version of Tychus on the same map won't be coloured. The name and descriptions of the ability are identical.
Are firebats even giving splash damage when you play them in the campaign? I'm not so sure actually.
Yes they do splash damage, and there's a story upgrade that increases their area-of-effect radius even more. What does this have to do with my question though.
He needs the actor events that the original did, that would have events that were triggered by Tychus using the the Toss Grenade ability. The actions for the events would be playing his Toss Grenade sound, and also playing his "Spell" animation.
Wow, you replied while I was typing my previous reply. Nice :P My poor Tychus does his throwing animation now, but does not say his quotes.
EDIT:
Wait, I think I've found it - the sound sub-section has a value for ability sounds, I'm gonna copy/paste it over to the other Tychus and test it out.

I would, if I could remember exactly which map it was - the campaign is rather big, but yeah, good advice.

Why don't you just set the kills required to an impossible number, like 9999 or something? That might work. Just a guess.

Help, please?

Come on, I'm sure that other people must have wanted to replicate the effect of the Breaching Charge in the campaign.

Yep! It works! Thanks everyone for your help!
