Hello, I am making a map and I wanna know how to make it so that when a player loses (it shows the defeat panel) they become a spectator, so they see the whole map. I tried finding a way for over a week now and never found one. Please help.
Afaik there is no native way to support this. There might be something, you can modify the default menu at least, maybe you can add additional buttons to the defeat menu as well or something.
However an easier way would be to never really "defeat" the player. Don't add the real victory conditions trigger, instead check the conditions yourself, and if they are mat, show a dialog, where the player has the option to stay in the game. I don't think, you can make him a "real" observer with access to the observer tabs and overlays like production tab etc (I might be wrong about that), but you can let him stay in the game and reveal the map for him etc.
