I need a little help. I'd like to have terrain from several different sets on my map. My question is this: Can I use Korhal terrain on an Aiur map? What are the limitations? Can I have a map with all the different terrain textures in the game?
Just boot up the data editor and goto Data -> Edit Terrain Data -> Terrain Types and replace or delete textures that you want/don't want in your map under the Textures - Blend+ field for the terrain set you're using.
There's a limit of 8 textures though, so you can't have ALL of the textures on the same map. Not sure if there's a workaround for this since I think the limit's hardcoded.
I had the same issue as the original poster and I did exactly what it said. I've replaced the Bel'Shir textures under the Texture - Blend+ option but my palette still only displays the default ones. Either there's a missing step or something broke in the most recent patch.
None were displayed when reopened. You have to change it in the map properties section in the Map tab after you change the settings in the data editor, changes will be effective immediately (just figured this out myself).

Hey everyone!
I need a little help. I'd like to have terrain from several different sets on my map. My question is this: Can I use Korhal terrain on an Aiur map? What are the limitations? Can I have a map with all the different terrain textures in the game?
Thanks!

You'll have to save/close/reopen your map to see the changes.
