Hey all,
Out of curiosity I was going to reterrain my map with a different cliff type and tilesets, but keep the actual terrain made.
I switched the cliff textures to the one I wanted and added in fog.
The problem that is occuring is that right now the lowest level is still space, which makes the cliff tilsets look very choppy.
I would like to make the space turn into solid ground of the new cliff type I chose, so that the fog works correctly.
Is there a way to do this by chance?
Much appreciated
Hang on, did you say you switched your tileset, causing your maps look to change completely, but then still having space around? If you'd change your entire tileset, it should work normally. Have you tried simply repainting the old cliffs over with the new cliffs to recreate ground?
It is, but the entire thing should reset if you simply change your tileset. Heck, the space background might even be in some data-way tied to the tileset itself.
In the terrain texturesset data, there is a field called Hide Lowest Level, see if this is checked. The space background can also be found there, but it's only visible if you have no terrain blocking it ofcourse.

I have yet to switch my tileset, but I switched the cliff type.
Should I change the tilesets too? I thought it would be a cliff related problem

I got it by changing the tilsets and then showing terrain cells on all that used to be space.
Thanks!

Actually since 1.5 it is named Terrain Types and not Terrain Texture Sets.
