If I recall correctly in Warcraft 3, you could make it to where rooms (using wall cliffs or something of the sort) are covered in black mask if you have not entered them, meaning you cant see inside. Is there a way to do the same in SC2? I have a town in my map that uses many doodad walls to create buildings (cliffs take up way to much space). All the walls have LOS and pathing blockers on them, the problem is I don't just want to block LOS, I also want it to not uncover black mask while standing outside of the walls.
There must be some kind of way of doing this right?

as far as i know you cant make black mask to refill area if it was explored before.
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but open Map Options, find the Fog of War dropdown and set it to "Black Mask (Reduced Radius)".
@zorbotron: Go
That actually just about fixes the problem, thanks.
