window boards have to be my favorite doodad at the moment. so i made a quick map to show some of the things you can do with them.
1 - Window board (Variation 6)
2 - Normal board with 50 Z setting (used these alot as fence planks)
3 - 10 X, 150 Y, 100 Z (great to use as posts)
4 - 200 X, 500 Y, 10 Z (creates a horizontal board with a laminate feel to it)
using some of the above scale techniques you can make pretty much anything as long as you dont require a sloping surface.
e.g - the basic house frame with a couple of recolored solar panels as roof pieces, hope this helps my fellow terrainers :D
Because of the texture stretching, this is kinda unacceptable for me as someone with a high sense for quality work. But I agree that those little boards are pretty helpful for some things. Still, I'd rather beat Otixa in doing a house than build one that looks like its tech is from 8 years ago :\
