Obviously, I'm looking for some artistic talent, take a look at my attempts at icons(picture below) and you will see why! As the torn t-shirt implies, Deadzergling does suck, at least at drawing good icons. I do intend to keep those in the game (keep in mind they will be MUCH smaller), since they are just the crappy starting gear anyways. I already have one artist helping me with some icons, the very talented Demonette, but the volume of icons is quite frankly too much to realistically expect one person to do for free in their spare time. Anyways, I have a long list of armor sets/weapon sets I would like done to PM to anyone who might be interested, linking it here would just be too much. Even if you can only see yourself doing half a dozen icons or something, that would be a great help, is a lot to choose from.
So that is what I could use from you, but of course anyone considering this is going to wonder, what is in it for me? Well I am not paying anything, at least in terms of money, I have put countless hours into this thing already and I'm still waiting for my check. What you would gain is a chance to see your artwork in a map that is sure to be seen by many, being authored by the creator of Elements 6 way back when, who refuses to let anyone see his map until he is happy with it. Also, for those that help don't be surprised if you find yourself put in the map as a mini-boss or monster somewhere, I tend to do something like that for any who help.
The map is STILL not in alpha phase, but that is only because the author(me) needs to try being more reasonable with his expectations from it.... Innovations the map currently has implemented are an inventory more akin to real RPGs, not a pseudo inventory, weapons can be 1h to 3h. Speaking of 3h, the map also has a 3 armed character available to play, can wield 1hers, 2hers, 3hers, shields, and any combo of the 4 (obviously 2her eats 2 slots and 3her eats 3 slots). It also features a very refined potion bar system for those who like to just heal using an easy keyboard shortcut(THAT IS NOT NUM1) instead of the ugly horrible crap often seen in most RPGs. Yet another feature(one of the most important) is the monster setup, they are set up to all be different unique types, to require actual micro and skill to beat. No more of the brainless stupidity that is get to X level, be able to fight monsters up to Area X. You will have to actually try to beat these. Final feature that I can think of (that I have implemented already) is the spell casting system, no more of this memorize spells in your 4 little spell icons bullcrap. You can quickly flip through all spells for your class to cast on the fly rather than hoping you got the right combo up. That is all the innovations I can think of, at least of ones I've implemented already.

Hope to hear from some artists soon,
