Any confirmations from blizzards? Any responses to the emails you sent? I haven't received one yet have you?
They usually need 3-4 working days to answer sc2 questions on support.
Considering we started sending them this week-end i suppose they will anser in 1-2 days.
Actually, I think nobody at SC2 mapster is capable of doing this. Not person wise, but coz people just cant work in team, everyone wants to be a leader, and most of the time they set their goals too high and then their project dies.
And whole limitation of this contest is silly. You can test maps in SP only, so I assume everyone should make SP map, since you cant test in MP(not allowed to slow).
Also, deadline is ridiculous also. Less then a month ? That means that you have to create some small, original minigame thing that is SP. Actually, that is not so hard, tho I bet lots of people will try to make some big projects that will end up unfinished.
I suppose you can publish your map as private and test it with friends, they just don't want that you spam around what you are doing so they can make a surprise at blizzcon ;)
I can't even take part of this contest because I'm Italian and Italy is not included in the required countries...
However it seems that they want a new fresh map never seen before on bnet, mappers that kept their work unpublished are lucky :|

Gimme 5k $ then if you don't care about money :D
I think it's a world contest and not divided by continet so published on EU or NA or SEA or whatever wouldn't change anything I suppose
