EDIT: Apparently, your mic is doable to do some decent quality voice acting. I went and edited your voice. Did lots of clean up and simply applied the filter I commonly use for the protoss.
Other than that, I had to increase the bass to give it that oomph. Lowered the treble to make it sound less harsh in sibilant letters.
Two layers. One is unedited and the other own has its pitch lowered by 20%. Mixed them both together, applied a chorus filter, compressed, EQ'd, normalized, and added the necessary reverb embellishments. Protoss voices are a whole lot simpler since they require less aggresive editing. Except if you're doing an archon, ofcourse. :P
Its basically three layers of voice. I copied the recording three times and layered them together but all of them pitched down to -3 semitones. On the first layer, I flanged it harshly. I lowered the second layer's pitch by 10% and added it its own light flange. The third layer is a copy of the unaltered second layer but its pitched was raised by 20%.
I then mixed them altogether, did some EQing, boosting low and highs, compressed, normalized, and gave it a little bit of reverb and echo. After that, I placed the signature reverse reverb that we all know from zerg/protoss voices then reversed it back to normal.
Zerg voices are known to be cunningly aggressive. So its a good idea to sound like you're plotting someone's murder in a methodical but angry way. :P
Used a cheapo Genius MIC-01c Lapel mic. I used adobe audition for the software. Hope this helps!

So what does this tell us? If I can pull it off with your voice and an audio editing software from the late 90s, you can to.

Here's a little something I whipped up using the line from your recording.
