My friend is on a Windows 7 computer and it wont let him run this. It keeps says its' not a "valid win32 application". I've tried having him run as administrator and changing compatibility mode to Windows 95 (how I run it) and it gives him the same "valid win32 application" error.
Any ideas?
Sounds like the DL must've been corrupted, have him re-DL it.
This tool won't work for me and my friend. We've followed the rules EXACTLY, and in fact it even did work once, but after that, every time, the loading bar freezes at the same spot followed by a crash.
We've even removed the cache, redownloaded (and played on) lost temple and tried again. I'm hosting the game, he joins, we alt tab, patch it, launch the game, and every time it crashes.
Anyone know whats up?
edit: The error report also says there's been a desync. But I *know* we're using the same map and such
It will only desync if you have different data... That means one of you didn't upload the map properly, or you have a different version of the map, :X.
Is it possible to launch 3v3 maps? When i make a map with 6 or 8 Players, and 8 players join, can we play 3v3 or 4v4 then? I dont think so, but it would be interesting to know.
Well... Not through Ladder. But you can have that many people in a Party at once, so I don't see why not.

As long as you all have the Custom Map, yes. I believe groups can have more than 4 people too.
Aegis, it changes the Lost Temple map with your custom map, so anyone can play it on Battle.net.
Wow, that's pretty nice. You should make a project for it so we can link it out to people. Awesome job!
Though I have to ask... Does it create a new cache or does it overwrite an old one? If it overwrites an old one, which does it overwrite?
