@rikky333: Go Annabelle has talking animations for all the lines she speaks if you click on her in the campaign. But I agree those may not be the best for the unit. As I think her headset is the best for the dropship, maybe it could replace the Banshee's headset so the new protrait keeps the facial animations of the banshee but doesn't look like it.
@Zarxiel93: Go I think the best way to make the old dropship portrait is to give a female portrait Stetmann's glasses retextured to be black. I think Annabelle's portrait is a good one as a base.
@GhostNova91: Go Don't worry, I can't do all that witchcraft you do. Although I see you use animations from blizz models a lot. How difficult is it to animate things with max?

Now, seriously, thank you very much for those battlecruisers, one question though do you add proper tight test and fuzzy test to your models? If not I'd like to have those and add it. At least with PrintIns addon its quite easy to fix this problem I dont know how it is with max.
@rikky333: Go I wish it were that simple. Right now I only have them without animations, nad the Defensive Matrix one doesn't have that green glow because the death model doesn't have it.
@GhostNova91: Go one word: Bluesome! lol. Might be better with a little less saturation. I know the original was blue, but it doesn't look that good on a 3d model. Just my opinion.
Just for you to know, the Bone Wasp has a little flaw in it's left "arm" spike, the tip of the spike is squarish.
Ohh man I just wish the blender addon were as good as the max addon. Some of the changes you made to the Ultralisk are exactly what I thought for it. Even though I'm just learning how to work with these models I already feel hindered by the addon limitations. Are you reading it PrintIn? I hope so, go on and improve it! XD

Glad to see a real modeller shares my opinion and may work on new versions of old units. All I could do was a simple Dropship and that half-assed hydralisk. Also I don't think it's the best decision to work on units that might appear in HoTS. Units like the Defiler may see the light from Blizzard so I wouldn't suggest it. I hope it comes based on the SC2 Defiler concept made by Mr Jack.
Gnareffotsrik's version is a remake exaclty as it was in SC1, just like his other models. I don't think this is the best approach as they dont fit among the SC2 models. I'd rather have redesigned model for all SC1 models. Specially for Zerg the "fleshy" feel is totally different, the use of team colors over the model too, the colors used and so on.
Don't get me wrong, that Devourer is perfect, but it's a perfect 2D design brought to 3D, not a perfect SC2 Devourer.
@nolanstar: Go I have no idea why nobody made a Devourer yet. But I'd say the Corruptor isn't a good base model. The Mutalisk itself is the best base model, because Devourers had a similar but fatter shape, divided in segments just like the Mutalisk. Main differences are the wings and the lack of a tail mouth. The head is flattened but in some old renders looked somewhat alike the mutalisk head with more spikes. Id make one myself if I where good enough with Blender.
@GhostNova91: Go Those are great. The Kerrigan unit model really reminds me the SC1 one with that teal team color. But my SC1 hydra looks better ;-)
