People argued over this so i made a solution. There are two gameplay modes. Classic and Modern. As the lobby master you can choose between them. Classic: As it was in warcraft 1: selection limit is 4 (1 for buildings), no rally points, no training queue. Modern gameplay mode is the same as sc2: unlimited selection, rally point, five training queue.
We released a new map with many improvements compared to the PTR test version. Here are the details:
Gameplay modes
Our goal was to recreate Warcraft 1 the closest we can but we received some mixed opinions about parts of the original gameplay. Meanwhile some people wanted to experience the exact old gameplay, many person pointed on the parts that didn't age so well. As the result of these reviews we implemented two gameplay mode, The Classic and Modern one. At the creation of the game the host can choose between these two option.
Classic: Are you a Warcraft 1 veteran? Do you want to experience the game as it was in 1994? Then Classic mode is for you! This mode includes every limit you had in the original game. Unit selection is limited to four units, There are no Rally Points, Buildings don't have queue.
Modern: You always wanted to try the classic game but the hard control scared you away? Do you want the gameplay more resemble to today's standards. Then try Modern mode. The controls are exactly the same as Starcraft 2. No selection limit, Rally points and five building queue.
The map.
Our first map is set in the iconic swamp of Azeroth. Black Morass is the place where the orcs found their way into the kingdom of Azeroth. Medivh opened the dark portal. Today you can't find Black Morass on the map as it is divided into the Blasted Lands and Swamp of Sorrows. The Portal slowly drained every energy around itself. It is designed for 2v2 gameplay . There are ten Gold Mines on this map (the four starting ones+ six additional one). Note that in Warcraft 1 you have only one Town Hall, therefore the more Gold Mine you deplete the more your workers have to travel. Prepare for a fight for the mines in longer games. In the lobby you can choose your start location. Start location 1 and 2 are on the left side of the map, 3 and 4 are the right ones. Please ALWAYS choose your start location or your units won't spawn.
Future plans
We are planning continuous update on the mod with adding new arts, adding more options into the lobby and fixing any bug we experience. In future version we hope to open the race picking too but first we need Blizzard to fix custom races in lobby. We also seek to finish the campaign so you can experience 24 mission of the first war. Those who love Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal i can assure that the multiplayer remake is in progress.
How To play:
Search for „COA" or „Wc1". Create a game (or click play game to find and open game) choose the gameplay mode and make it open for players. Note: you need to connect to the europian server. yes, we are working slowly because everybody have/had small amount of free time, but we are working on it and try to do it as blizz like as its possible.

thank you. Actually they have wow models too, just highly edited and added team color. Some of them got from us and wow contect remake mod theme. So i have those models or have better. And as good news Orly again have free time so he start working on models again. Wich models are 100% made by him.

Maybe you put the textures to wrong location. Some of the textures use the root as location, some of them use the Assets/Textures and some of them use completely different. so you have to know the path your model use to reach the textures. If the Textures in wrong location the model can not find it. Also in the newest patch i found that after a good importing it will show it as black but if you go to preview (or now cinematic editor) it will show with texture.
Also a night elf Huntress Hall WIP, wc1 orc Town Hall wich i forgot to upload here and a Necropolis Concept art.
Actualy that is a map i did in 10 second for test warcraft 3 , It isn't made by our Terrainer, but i can show you some real Terain Gameplay from wc1 remake. Alos Watch Our moddb page, there are screenshots of mapst from topdown view.
Actually we are in contact already and helping each other, I don't want to fuse our project with them totaly because they do it differently than us (i use regular editor, and they use mpq editing and self writen programs as we talked) . Also they only want to work on wc3 and we have greater plans (wc1-wc3 then wow ones) I'm working on all the three warcraft games data i put on pause a little the wc1 remake and worked on the wc3 and started recreate the wc2 as i lost it. As you can see on the screenshots, orc race is in good state, also undead it means most of upgrades, weapons, stats added mostly need to work on abilities and actors

New Version up: You can choose your race now. (Zerg=Orc, Protoss=Human)
Sadly the Human Ui has some bugs so need to solve it before i can apply it again.

Experience with it, try first the root then the Assets\Textures, and yeah you must remove the model before moving and reimport it after save close.
