Still the same bugs, i don't know if it happens only to me, maybe my mod is corrupted, i noticed that my computer told me that it wasn't sure if he can "decrypt" the "annihilation 9-10" folder, so i extracted both maps directly into the map folder.
I will not test anymore annihilation campaign until i manage to play mission 9, i hate to play incomplete stories
I also tested again, and no triggers works, no doors opens and as alwais with map 9, the editor crashes and makes me lag so i have to close it after the map is opened and running... I just did a mega check of my notebook with NOD and AVG,maybe the 733 problems found by AVG were corrupting the files... I will try again... Let's hope it works, i really want to rip Malrick's skull out of his neck, like Mortal Kombat X
Believe it or not ... But the new version of map 9 started with 2 rewees, no difficulty setting, no intro cutscene and wrong camera position! Is my client cursed?
I am on a room with Two regeneration stations, some zerg popped out the. The doors closed themselves and nothing more happened, leaving me stucked once again
I've already Found the key before writing that post... And I lost 1 marauder, I got no Vikings... Maybe one day I will be able to finish the mission, is more annoying of that Aureolin Eclipse where you have to save the APCs
I destroyed all the 4 gates and lost 2 marine and 1 viking by an undetected zerg ranged/AoE unit, and you know what ? I am Stucked! Once again! I am for sure mega retarded, but i checked all the fucking doors, every shitty wall and what the fuck no Door opens, i even checked the door sub the zerg arena, that magically had some enemy respawned, i cleared it by throwing greandes at the wall, and the door that is on the north of the room doesn't open itself! This mission starts to piss me off, between gargantuan loading times, editor (it happens only with your maps sometimes) that with mission 9 crashes after some time and some magic freeze that fucks up some super easy combat... I wasted like 45 minutes ONLY on loading, fortunally i was watching youtube while the fucking map was loading... For now great terraining and nice story... And i am 95% sure that the bio-weapons are Hybrids... Kappa.
Well map 9 i called rhik for the reinforcement, he said "go near on west"... And then i am stucked! There are 3 doors, 2 doors contains useless rooms and the other door doesn't open itself because there are other fucking debris behind, all the other ways are blocked by debris (undestructible OFC)... It's me that is dumb/blind/retard or there is a bug?
On the north Terran base there is a command center that you cannot see, but you can hear it explode if you attack the wall of unita ahead of other, what about moving ahead the whole base so I could had expanded two times
About the guardians ... I see them not usefull because this is a multitasking mission like "safe heaven" or "awakening of the ancient ", here you need mobility (the guardian is anyway veeery fast considering his range), you don't need a siege unit designed to destroy thick defences, and for the mind control range that you cannot outrange with mutalisks, is a temporary problem, the loss of DPS is permanent:)

Looking forward for mission 9, I want Malric's head, even if I think that dominon after the defeat of the annihilators on korhal may had absorbed the entire organisation, this would explain all the dominon stuff on mission 8
Mission 8 was more about reflexes and puzzles instead of difficulty.
Mission 7.... I needed like two hours to finish it...
One thing i understood immediatley is that i had to face multiple attacks from far distant cannons to defend... Ling-queen-aberration- and mass muta clear all kinda easily, maybe with roach-hydra added... I don't really understand the utility of the guardian ? ok more HP, more survivability... But all the damage is dealt by the mutas, ok you can outrange the mind control field with them but still i don't find them really usefull...
Also the AntiArmored upgrade is useless, k more damage vs armored stuffs and structures, but it makes your mutas less efficent on clearing waves and ground units... I suggest you to put at the start also a choice between 6 target bouncing upgrade from hots campaign or this armor piercing single round
The mission was hard, but not too much, because the general tactic is to hold attacks until you have a tanks/queen/mutas army to keep yourself defended (i used to place far from the cannon some evo chamber to buy time) and then clear the map with the mutas.
I liked it because it required some multitasking, like "put the army on the middle of the 3 cannons and keep some units and structures to the north cannon, while doing that push bases with the mutas... That's the missions i wanted to see on HotS, he force you to deal with one of the zerg's weak spots, defence from multiple attacks contemporaneus.
Gj dude, we will never see a mission like SC1, shitload of units vs shitload of units? Just saying
Mission 8 was fenomenal, even if hate stealth missions (maybe also because you are not a sadistic maniac like EvindL when you do stealth missions)
For missions 7 i would love to see some interaction with the leviathan, like him sending you a drop pod when a spore cannon is down to 1/4 of maximum health.
For the unbreakable wall i would like more to see a mass of thors and tanks with some science vessels, instead of unvulnerable units, but it's not so important
Maybe also some advice that advise you when a combined wave is coming would be uefull, maybe spelled from the leviathan itself.
I tested mission 7 and 8 on brutal, and I am stuck at the idiot subject I have to follow that stands still in front of the marauder for 10 min, there are not other ways I can use to follow him... It's so frustrating... I don't know if it' a bug or I have still to understand something
