This is a lazy tutorial, so I'm not going to go step by step (sorry). But I attached the map to the post so you can look at it. Basically, it shows how to make an ability that makes the screen really dark and then highlights enemy units. This lets the player see enemy units easily and ally units are not shown. This only works in single player, by the way. Its mostly just because it looks cool.
Quick Overview
Ability
1- I made a copy of the ghost cloaking ability and the cloaking buttons, set them all up, and put them in the ghost's command card.
2- Now you have to use triggers. (Dont worry, its not a hard one)... The first trigger goes off when the ability "turn night vision ON" is used. It sets the lighting to a cool, dark, green-ish light and then highlights all the enemy units. The second trigger does the opposite and turns off the lights and highlighting.
3- I also made a trigger that turns off the highlights if the ghost dies.
4- Thats it, =] I know, it was short. Sorry.
ANYWAY....If you need help on specific parts, send me a PM or post here and I can go into more detail.
