For anyone not experienced in using banks, this will be a good starter point. It really is quite simple to save data into a bank for your players etc... keep in mind what I show here is a good intro but don't depend on it as it's easily hackable.
Yes, you can convert simple numbers into complex strings with 'checksums' etc. to protect your data... but that is too much for me to do in a tutorial. As a helper, what I did to save in my RPG was use banks except save out a string to the bank consisting of somewhat-muddled hero data. I used this tutorial except just saved the string to bank and loaded it later. Takes a while to get right though >< (not to mention war3 triggers are slightly different).
