It has always said that it was unable to create application directory, something to do with the Java application me thinks, and if you look at the first post I made I did say that first hand. It keeps telling them that everytime they try to run the file on XP. Doesnt happen to me on Vista though.
They aren't running SC2 while using this tool, correct? I wonder if SC2 is holding the dir.
They are supposed to run SC2 while using this tool (unless they're using single player mode). But it should have no effect on the directory locking. For some reason I just can't get this damn path right despite all the Microsoft documentation telling me otherwise.
It is against the Terms of Use and End User License Agreement you agree to as part of the beta testing program, however, no one has been banned for using it.
umm, hey, Motiveme, you have done the great job on this!
I have been searching around the internet, Googling every hour, just to find the map launcher.
You have done it!
One disappointment is that it doesn't look as good as SC2 Allin1 app for Windows. I am sure if you could do this, you can even create an application which lets you to choose race, color, and number of players. Is that even possible for now?
Sixen, thanks for the reply.
Well, my next questions is, are there any apps that does the same for SC2 Allin1, which is for Windows?
I would be glad to find it, because I have been waiting it for 2 weeks searching for one.
Here is the only reason that I want those kind of cracks:
1. I signed up for Blizzard's SC2 6 month ago, but I never got the key (or whenever the opt-in started, after the Blizzcon, and I also uploaded my Windows machine's specs).
2. I live outside of U.S., and therefore the Mac beta is not currently out yet globally.
3. I just want to get some practice with SC2, so that I will at least be on gold league when the game comes out.
Hey, I bought Starcraft Original and Expansion, and I love Blizzard. Now that they are doing the beta, I was happy about that until I realized I haven't got a key even after four months.
I will definitely buy the game the day it comes out, but I need practice.
Please, if you know one, can you PM me? I am desperate, and I can't install Windows on Mac using Bootcamp because it's a pain in the neck.
I've added 1.2 for Windows XP users on the downloads page. This may solve issues a lot of you had. It's not a proper fix but it'll work for probably 98% of XP users. I've gotta' learn JNI and call the Windows API to do it properly later. It won't work if your path isn't completely standard, or if you're not on an English build of Windows.

is this tool legal on battle.net as in, it wont get me banned?
@ShakiShingi: Go

You won't get banned for using it, nor is it illegal or a violation, Motive. All it is, is a File Manager.

soongapple, this is a custom Map patcher, not a Map loader. Those are illegal, :P.

I'm sure there are, but those are illegal, soongapple. We want to stay on Blizzard's good side, :P.

While i'd love to help, like I said, those are illegal and i'd rather stay on Blizzard's good side. Try google, we don't support them on Mapster.
This makes Starcraft II crash, the loading bar goes to nearly finished but then it stops and then crash :P
It's probably a desynch error, it means you both don't have the same map info... Which means one of you didn't use the tool.
We both did use the tool, with the same map :P
Different versions of the map, possibly?
No, we both downloaded them at the moment we wanted to play :P
out of topic, but does anybody know when Blizzard will be sending out keys for "out of US" Mac users, waiting for the Beta key? I am dying for it.

Could be a problem on your friends end, what OS is he running?
