Hi to all.
Well, that you see. I'm making a remake of the most awesome classic First Person Shooter game: DooM (1).
By now I'm already making the system, don't worry about the maps, it's too far to talk about those...
I started about 4 days ago. I'm using the BacklitAvenger FPS engine 1.1 improved by me. For the moment I have done:
- Enemy A.I recognition.
- Full riped DooM player weapon sprites and gameplay UI.
- Half of the weapon system (the fist, the pistol and the shotgun).
- Full riped of some of the DooM player original sounds.
- The DooM player death animation (with sound).
- Obviously complete the weapon system with all the weapon sprites.
- The Doom guy face animations.
- Import DooM original riped wall and floor textures.
- Make the monsters and the objects.
- And after of all that things. I will make the first map of the original DooM with all his difficult levels:
I'm too young to die. Hey, not too rough. Hurt me plenty. Ultra-violence. Nightmare!
Things that I need:

Well, talking about the Weapon data triggers, the projectile-type weapon, the AoE constant weapon and the Linear fire constant weapon types are terribly bugged. So now I can't make the Chaingun, the Rocket Launcher, the Plasma gun and the BFG Uu

- Also I need people (for my team) who knows about triggers and advanced modeling. For more info just PM me.

Now I'm trying to put the Player life count in the "Health" square of the UI, but I don't know how to do that.

Looks good i like how you make the doom character into the game. would be a front pager if done good and by the looks of it, its cool :D
Add the good old doom music (http://www.cslab.ece.ntua.gr/~phib/doom1.htm) and the different character portraits pretty please :)

This may be such a win if you really try. Truly looks epic :D . A really nice idea too :P
Hey, M1n1sha, good to see you around here :).
It shouldn't be hard to put the Doom sprites in, too, as the enemies. Just play with them and their 2d nature.
Whatever, if you need help, don't hesitate to ask me ;) :P.
PS: ask someone to move this to "9886-doom-remake-project/", it's "9886-doo-m-remake-project/" right now xDDD.
It'll be cool if you make a "Doom Vs SC2" map, where players control doom characters and their role is to eliminate the SC2 game...
That's cause of the capitalized 'M'. Leat's leave it as it is since DooM is twice as awesome as Doom :3

- Fixed the sprites transparency bug.
- Added the original DooM gameplay UI.

The lower life you have, the more blood will be on your character face.
Like in the good old games.
