There is a problem with your map, however.
When loading it I get an error (Unable to find Components.SC2Components). The map will load, but testing doesn't work (Unable to open map).
Well, I think letting players change their keybindings would be a great idea, but not a high priority.
And, I don't know whether that is your current plan, but it would be useful for these UI elements to be resizable for different players (different screen resolutions). From what I see they're all fixed.
Apart from that I like it, very comprehensive already and with a couple of really important things.
I might be inclined to include a faded map that you can toggle on and off in the center of the screen... sorta like Diablo's... The minimap I was talking about is just like WoW... with your location on a local area...
I just noticed that as well... I'll take a look into it... I actually just posted this thread, but the file has been on here since before patch 16... which I assume is where it broke down.
So this project will not have an update until after Release... I just want to make sure that Bliz doesn't break anything else before I fix the broken things in it already.
I would also recommend making it when you select a unit, a box similar to the one you have pop up, with the 3d portrait and everything. perhaps even develop an "elite unit" icon (Basically, WoW like). Also an xp bar above your skills would be awesome. Also moving the threat bar under the map and adding your chat idea to the bottom left (next to the skills bar, which in my opinion should have the "clock cooldown" blizzard design). The bottom because if you add a "party function" it should go under your unit portrait.
PS - if you want, I can make the "elite icon" image if you just give me the dimensions you want it (yes, I am bored atm waiting for SC2)
I figured I'd do a quick sketch up of what the elite frame might look like. Now this is nowhere near a final version, just something i did in 5-10minutes to show what I had in mind
that's actually pretty cool... I'm still working on Default Frame layout... but I want to make it so that each frame can by moved to any location on the screen that you choose... as somebody pointed out to me earlier, changing the size of the frames might also be a good idea, but there are a few problems with that... mainly being that some things don't stretch...
Yeah, eventually I want to get rid of the BossBar graphic and replace it with something more akin to the Player Frame... which also needs revision... And a lot of things need to be modularized before I get to adding new features...
Because I want it to be so that you can take any piece of the puzzle and apply it elsewhere without needing any other pieces.
