Oh, I see. I didn't realize that, sorry! In my experience, even if you have a doctorate in computer science, making something fun is still the hardest part.

There will be a beta phase before we release to the public. As we get closer to that, I will start a general beta recruitment thread. However, if you have experience from WC3 then you may be recruited now.
I wouldn't mind adding my two cents about your map, Karawasa. I believe I've beaten it perhaps once or twice, the first time with loads of pure water towers. I actually enjoyed it quite much even though I usually played it with random elements.
Element TD, was that the TD map where you needed to set 5 stones and could only pick one?
You were also able to merge stones together or have slates? And on lvl 25 you had a boss run and also at the end?
Please say yes....
If so, you are a God.
I would do anything to help you out! even get a drink and fax it!

Else, well, we'll see how much fun this will be.
No, that is Gem TD. This might refresh your memory...
We are still looking for help. If you've played the WC3 Element TD, can be a regular forum user, will brainstorm new ideas, able to provide feedback on betas, and use IRC (this last one not required but a bonus)...then please get in contact with me or post here.
Hi Karawasa. When your project will be ready? You create it with the team for more than six months, is it really so hard? I can not wait to come out map, and I hope it will be as interesting as the original.
You would be surprised. If you ever wonder why most commercial games take at least a year or two, its because game making is hard. (and they even have a decent sized team of people.) However it is also extremely rewarding :)

There are plenty of projects which invested a huge amount of work, but they are not justified when the born, I would say most of them fail. A huge number of maps, just dead projects, and here you understand what is important is not how much you spent time on a particular project, and what idea you're built into the project and implemented it. The best example of this Nexus Wars. This is Genius map which is based only on the idea and nothing more.
You didn't read my post :(

I couldn't agree more.
Element TD is the best TD map I've ever played. Thanks for all your work on that one, Karawasa! I can't wait to see the SC2 version.
I'm too busy with my AI project to help out unfortunately.
We are hoping to have something out by the end of the month.

Good luck and please please make something simular to Tropical Tag. Damn that map was awesome. Me and my friend played it alot.

Is there any reason why we posted in a thread 200 days old. There is a new thread for the element TD
