Hey there, I just had a quick question. What do you use to save the icons as .dds? If you happen to use the Photoshop plugin, what setting (color depth and such :x) do you use to export the texture?
Photoshop plugin, Nvidia dds format v8.23 with no mip maps setting
If anyone need some custom Loading Screen or some Wallpapers or edited image.. i can make it, im good on photoshop so just ask to my e-mail or my forum (sc2nexus.com.ar) and i will reply as soon as posibly. I dont make dds files.. just image format.. but i can help.

Im not sure how they should look, i didnt played sc1 too much, find maybe better/bigger render which should be used and whats about that devourer image ?

Then the motorcycle, I think if you shrink the width size (X size) of the MULE icon, you will get MULE that looks like motorcycle. That kind of motorcycle is fine.
I wonder if anyone would consider using more "simpler" icons for maps when you want to get the idea or process across...
The current SC2 icons for certain skills can be confusing if you have 4 skills in a row and hard to "distinct" each type.
For example:
SoTIS relies on the current SC2 icons, so the skills looks like art and art and art and art in a row.
Simplifying it, can work by having each column of skill having a coloured background representing a "type" of skill (Offensive, Supportive, Defensive, Ultimate) meaning it's easier to identify.
Of course, implementing full working icons into a game like SC2 is a hassle because they require a "default" icon, a "pressed" icon, and a "cooldown/inactive" icon, which ends up tripling your work.
It could be easier if they went and create a "pressed" layer, and a "cooldown/inactive" layer that goes on top of the icon, and not from the icon themselves... Meaning it can be used with a plethora of other skill icons as a "layer over it".
You cut the work required to make a single skill icon by 1/3 and you make it easier to do "lack of energy" and "cooldown/inactive" icons by using "shading/coloring" or something.
no, it dont because when you make icon with transparent background and frame it works like orginal sc2 icons ...so dont spam ...this topic is for rquests not for your "thinking" , if some1 wants icon with defalut frames etc. they just say, thats why i want requests to be detailed...

Very nice! I have some cosmetic/polish request if you don't mind.
- On Claptrap, can you color the blue eye into red, and make the eye just a bit bigger.
- The motorcycle is nice but I think I was wrong... can you instead take the MULE button, then shrink it in terms of the width (X coordinate), and stretch it a bit in terms of the height (Y coord). I think that will make the MULE look like motorcycle. (the original MULE button attached)
