Hey everyone, I'm new to sc2mapster.
I finally got sc2 art tools, and 3ds max 2011.
I"m following the tutorial provided by blizzard(The one with the Waterbat Model) and I ran into something that seems like a problem.
When I preview the mesh, I don't see the normal, emmisive, or environment map. I also don't see the decal. Is there something I'm wrong?
I'll post some pictures.
Set diffuse map's RGB multiplier to 0, and see if the model turns black. To make sure it's the material that assigned to the mesh.
Then rightclick->clear the normal map and change bitmap->color inside specular map. It should create a white specularigty blink. If it doesn't check if you have material's specular multiplier = 1 or more.
Also, make sure, that you don't have "use mopac path" box checked at export panel.

Thanks for the help so far zolden.
Is this what you mean? also I checked to make sure the "use mopac path" wasnt selected.

I don't see what is material's specularity multiplier value. Set it to 10, it to see if there any specular blinks appear on the mesh.
