I've been following the balance discussions on Bnet forums and I decided to publish a map with some balance tweaks. It is called Balance Tweaks Fractured Glacier. The first issue I'm trying to address is that some players feel Terran mech play isn't viable at the moment, and that the siege breaker role should be filled by Thors. Also mech play is considered weak against air builds right now.
So I switched Warhound's and Thor's roles. Warhounds got the Thor's AA weapon and the range was reduced to 8, but lost their Haywire ability. Thors lost their AA weapon but 330mm Barrage Cannons from WoL campaign replaced the 250mm Strike Cannons ability. As players post feedback on these changes I will keep tweaking them so as to make this build more balanced.
I may work on other tweaks but right now I'd like to work on this specific issue, so ideas and suggestions are welcome.
