Hey, I'm making a map based on the battleroom in Ender's Game and I just wanted to quickly check if people like the camera movement I have made for it. It will be a top down shooter (with shockwave type bullets).
I realize that not much has been done, all you can do right now is move around the one soldier and see how awesome or crappy the camera movement is. It is all custom, and a combination of following your unit and following your mouse (it actually follows the point 2/5s of the way from your unit to your mouse). I love it, as it locks your vision onto your unit, but doesn't make it feel like you can't move your camera.
Any feedback, on the camera movement or the concept, even if it is to say "eh" would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Only the 3 stars around the soldier have been "regioned" to stop the soldier, and he can currently walk onto them but not down from them if you arent careful.
I posted the map in the maps section and provided a link, but I guess its waiting approval. I guess I'll try to attach it (I'm pretty horrible at this sort of thing).
Edit:
Yay, I think I did it. And I only messed up once (I guess I double clicked attach).

Heres the link
I actually like that type of aiming. But you don't have a file attached so we can't view it.
