Finally my map reached the ALPHA state, and is now available for testing.
its features are very limited at the moment, but i will upgrade and extend the map every day, and react on any feedback that users can provide.
the map is available on EU servers (looking for someone able to release on US for me) and you´ll find it under the name "HeroWars Ultimate! ALPHA"
obviously there wont be any games right now, because it is just published, so please search for it, create a game, invite some friends and provide feedback!
the map´s state is ALPHA, that means it is possible that there are HEAVY bugs, game destorying things and stuff like that - so please, dont get angry, just report these things to me and i´ll fix them asap! thanks!
Thanks to everyone that helped me out on tons of issues i ran into while creating this map!
i found out that there are already some major bugs. will fix em later but game is playable.
- hero choosing in the beginning is bugged: for player 1 the choosing appears more than once, and everyone seems to get more than one hero. (major issue) edit: seems fixed!
- bank (increases mineral income if built) works only for player 1 (minor issue) seems fixed!
- Fixed several bugs with abilities, items and different effects.
- Added Duel Functionality, every 15 minutes a Duel will take place letting 2 random players duel their heroes against each other.
- Added Invisible Warriors Wave - invisible hero killers that only attack heroes - expensive but devestating.
- Enabled Bank building. purchase a SCV builder and build a bank to increase your money income.
please, i need just any feedback i can get - gather some people and just test it once, would make me really happy!

Game takes too long to end. I dont have forever to spend on a game of tug.
The basic premise and concept of the map has potential but I think your execution is not very good(aka bad). It feels like something out of Starcraft 1. Very archaic and hardly appealing. I had little incentive to try it again.
I think if you worked on it for atleast a month or two. You could get it somewhere satisfactory. In its current state, I honestly wouldn`t play this game as it stands.
thanks for the feedback. this now may sound like a non-acceptance but its just a response on the things you stated..
the game is meant to be long, if you are skilled - right now its just unbalanced, the 2nd and 3rd towerline are too strong and everything is very unbalanced (point of an alpha/beta) so the game takes very long even in an "casual" game approach.

obviously not finished so what i want to get in this alpha is ideas to make the game attractive on the base game that the game is right now.
but while doing that the game should stay "normal" like it could have existed in wc3, no special things that the ediotor can just to show "look how cool this is"
gathering ideas and stuff is the first goal.
the point of the map itself was to recreate the warcraft3´s herowars so this is why it does not have any fancy "sc2 generation" stuff.
i know that a 1:1 remake can work, my TankDef2.0 was a long time #2 and sometimes even #1 in EU beside early very impressive maps over the complete beta since editor release so people also like the old games, also we see footmen is very popular.
may i ask how you played it? alone obviously is nonsense, so i guess you played at least with 1 more player..? when was it? today or some days ago?
Will test it on Map Night again if we can :)
I just hope you removed hardened shields from the immortals and made all creeps less 1-shottable, maybe even added a few heroes, some balance changes, etc.
ah well.. not really but i will take care of that until friday - at least some of that stuff. :P
what i've fixed are more the gamebreaking issues like respawning when dead while a duel takes place or non-working AMS (what actually makes the stuns as OP as they were. etc.)
I played some hero wars sometime ago. I notice something:
1. korass: can heal building don't no if bug or not
2. I have 4 unused points from levelling but can't do something with it (Maybe stats/ulti?)
3. Sometimes i get a error from the thorns effect
Some points on the map:
1. for my preference are the return circles to small a little bit bigger would be better i think
2. and the return circle at the top is sometimes hard to see+click (see 1)
3. It's hard to see what the maximum lvl for npc is maybe massage or not clickeble(grey)
4. i play on a pretty big screen and i don't notice when the countdown starts for duel time maybe sound or massage.
I will play it tomorrow a bit more i hope (when i find people to play with). I hope you have some at my points. Pretty good map hope to see more in the future

hero icons seem broken with the recent patch, but the map has been updated a lot lately and works pretty well.
now it needs tons of balancing, so i need feedback.
