When I use the "Test Map" button/command in the editor, SC2 loads the map as expected, but many of the triggers do not activate. Some do, which is the confusing part.
If, however, I publish the map to battle.net then all of the triggers activate as expected.
I'll provide screenshots as soon as I get back home to the editor, right now I can only type up some text.
I believe it may have something to do with teams though.
One of the triggers that does work is
Event: any unit construction started
Condition: unit type of triggering unit is (command center)
Action: issue order to triggering progress unit (build - (halt))
One trigger that does not work is
Event: any unit dies
Condition: owner of (triggering unit) is on team 1
Action: Add player 1 to player group (respawn queue)
I know that it is not even activating because the debug messages do not ever appear when I test the map locally, as opposed to publishing and testing online.

Any idea why this is?

Are you using any Random Number generation?
When you test a map I think it defaults to a static number for random generations which you can change in the preferences.
Only thing I can think of off the top of my head why stuff would be failing.
Can we have some examples of the triggers?
Is it just me, or did the popularity of sc2 mapster...
"Time to kick this revolution into overdrive."
?

No random number generation is involved, nor anything fancy really, just some rather standard triggers.

The condition doesn't pass.
Team 1 refers to the teams that are set when players join the game lobby.
When you test locally Sc2 doesn't assign you a team, probably.

Ok, thanks.
