I used to play Vampirism in wc3, and I was waiting for someone to work on a remake.
I tested the map today. I see its still on its early stages and there is a lot of work to be done. You did a good job with the models and hero's inventory. You still have to make much more bases and I'd suggest you to move the current ones closer each other, so the paths feels more like a maze. I guess you plan to expand the map and make it bigger. Also, I don't like the current way to select vampires and workers at the beggining of the game, it would be better to make a dialog for it or to allow players to select it while in the lobby.
I found a small bug, that when you don't have enough gold to make a building, it says you don't have enough vespene gas.
Keep the good work. ;)
PS: You should add some screenshot/video on the main post.
But with less than 8 players only 1 vampire will be chosen.
Also I'm only remaking the original so the bases etc will be reflected in this way (I will make another map but this is for the nostalgic people)
The selection is my next work on and I will be changing it to look nicer, still not sure the best way to do it as I want it to be fast.
Lastly the text I changed it all but only some of it seems to have worked :/ audio I'm being slow with as It'll be very costly on resources to reimport all the old sounds from WC3.
I do have to stress I will go on to remake some of the more modern Vampirism that appear on WC3 but for now I just need to get the core working the content is really easy to add once you know what you want.
ninja edit*
I know the vampire and a few other models are missing I will add them as well, even if I have to make them myself (I'd prefer not to but I think most of them are broken)
Are the Vampires Heroes, do the levelup and can you learn/skill different abilities?
Will you have different Vampires to choose from as the map progresses?
So 6 vs 1 Vampires is roughly the balance atm? That seems like strong vampires :p Remember if you go full house, 12 players it will ve 10 vs 2 / 5 vs 1, so not sure how that will work out balance wise.
If its in a playable state, post it in the Map Night thread (with maximum player number, genre, and a link if possible, at the very least to this topic) http://forums.sc2mapster.com/general/general-chat/18556-eu-map-night/
Would love to try it out and this is an easy way to get enough players for it :)
Hey I posted Vampirism on EU last week.
I'd love for anyone to play it and give me some feedback.
I'm working on the original concept of Vampirism 7.8 before I go on to make a remake of the Vampirism Fire map.
Thanks,
Cheekything

Screenshots would be nice :)
I'll try to give it a try online. I assume you need atleast about 4-5 players?
For a reasonable game 6 is about nice.

Will it be available on US?
Depends on if i can publish it cross regions or can afford a US cd Key... I was hoping Blizzard would of opened up cross regions by now.
Fixed the UI for the Begining.
It's now 2 buttons, (I will make it look better but for now I think this will do)
Dang, I really liked Vampirism on WC3, If you cant find a way to upload it to the US, I can upload it to the US for you.
