I decided to remake my favourite map from Warcraft 3 - Archery Tactics.
If you don't know the map here is a brief explanation:
There are two teams of several players each. You goal is to reach a certain number of kills. In the begining you ahve only one spell - Arrow. You shoot in the direction you choose. If your arrow hits someone he dies and you gain XP. When you die you lose XP/levels. When you level up you can get new skills or upgrade your skills.
Here is what I want my map to be:
There are two teams of High Templars and they play until one team reaches the given amount of kills.
You can level up the following skills:
Psi Spear (you get this by default) - you high templar shoots in a target direction. On impact the Spear is destrpyed. It can only kill enemies.
GPS (name is not decided yet) - for 1/2/3/4 seconds (increases with level) you can see you enemies.
Psi Shield - for 0.5/1/1.5/2 you can't be hit (spears go trough you)
Blink - you blink xD
Sprint - you move faster for some seconds
Critter - you get the form of a random critter (critters will be around the map so you can hide near them with this skill). However on the map you will be a big red dot so this skill is more for fun.
There will also be two shops on the map (you can buy stuff with the minerals you get for each kill)
In the shops you will be able to buy:
Boots of Speed - increases the speed of the carries
Telescope - increases the sight range
Portal - immediately teleports you to a target allied unit or structure (it has BIG cooldown)
There will be many other items.
The new things in my map are going to be tha Pick Ups
They will be randomly spawned in certain areas around the map. When you walk over them, you will get some bonus:
Restore energy - restores part of your energy
Speed boost - you movement speed is increased for some time
Invisibility - you become invisible for some time

I'll be establishing regular suggestions from here and there, so here's another one.
1. Change Critter to Polymorph.
Here's an idea for an ability
1. Psi Fire/Pyrokinesis: Creates a line of fire from the caster to the target point. Psi Fire/Pyrokinesis deals 50/100 damage, but has a 15/10 second cooldown. Can be upgraded from Psi Fire to Pyrokinesis.
Here's an idea for an item
1. Portable Black Hole: When used, a black hole is created which sucks in any unit close enough to the center and drags the rest into it. However, the black hole is escapable. Lasts 10 seconds and has a 60 second cooldown. Re-usable.
Black hole is like the vortex ability of the mothership but from an item?
The fire line is quite interesting
How about this:
You create a circle of fire at target point. When a unit walks through the fire it takes damage.

Here's two suggestions:
1. Change GPS to Scry.
2. Change Sprint to Haste of Dash
I need help with making the abilities, items, pick-ups. What does scry mean?

Basically to spy upon from a distance.
Like when a Wizard looks into his crystal ball and can see someone or some event far away... that is Scrying.
