Howdy! I'm representing Tactical Gaming on our recruiting drive for new players for our team. Here are the details on a few services we provide as well as links to our various sites and information on how to join. We look forward to hearing from you!
COMPETITIVE SQUAD
We, as a clan, like to excel in the battlefield as a team. If you are the type of player who enjoys the pressure of a competitive environment and the teamwork of elite, experienced players, then look no further. Our goal is merely to strive towered reaching high ranking in the ladders (which we have done before in other game franchises). If you do not feel you have the required skill level for this type of squad, we, as like-minded gamers, will provide tips, tricks and strategies on the forums or in-game to improve your overall gameplay.
CASUAL SQUADS
Our casual squads are composed of players ranging from Bronze to Masters League. The primary goal of these squads is to help you improve your game and have fun with friends while doing it without the stress and obligations of being in a competitive squad.
TEAMPLAY, TEAMWORK, TACTICS
To keep up with our team-based game style, our squads are aimed towards mostly 1v1 and 2v2. And sometimes 3v3 and 4v4 games, ladders and tournaments, but we are not putting any restrictions regarding game types outside of the practices, so you are getting best of the both worlds.
PRIVATE FORUMS
If you are tired of asking a question and getting only trolls and haters respond and not receiving a single helpful comment? Not anymore! We have our own private forum which we use to coordinate practices, discuss races, strategies, builds, upcoming tournaments, and many other things pertaining to the game. It also builds a great sense of community and is very well moderated, as we do not tolerate trolls in TG.
TEAMSPEAK 3 SERVER
Through the TG sponsorship program, we are able to pay for and use our own TeamSpeak server for practices and AT games. This helps greatly when trying to help your practice partner with their game as you don't have to stop and type, and you don't have to worry about the in-game voice-chat not working.
FREE COACHING
Have you seen Master League players selling their coaching services for SC2? Do you know how much an hour costs? I don't, because TG has Master League players who donate their time to offer coaching free of charge to any interested team member. If you're just learning StarCraft, or if you're stuck trying to move up a league, this will definitely give you a one-up on the competition!
TOURNAMENTS
For those who enjoy competing for glory and prestige we are working hard to set up tournaments in order to be known in the community. Meanwhile, we do not hesitate to improvise, so we create our own internal tournaments, which is a nice change of pace from facing random strangers game after game.
MISSION STATEMENT
Tactical Gaming (TG) was created in November 2004 to bring together like-minded gamers from around the globe and from multiple platforms (Consoles, PC & Mobile), to provide them with headquarters where they can share their backgrounds, experience, and interests in teamwork and tactics, as well as providing them with an environment that allows a "friends-first" experience in the online community.
REQUIREMENTS
Microphone for communication on TeamSpeak
We communicate with each other during arranged team games and regular practices using voice communication so that we can focus on playing and practicing, not typing. It also helps to develop a more personal relationship with the members in your squad/battalion and results in a much closer community which makes the experience much more rewarding.
Ability to attend practices Sundays and Wednesdays, 8PM EST
Everyone is here to make friends and improve their game play, and practices are one of many ways we get to know each other. They are also used to improve on things that you are having problems with in the game so being able to attend at least one session every week is a must. Two is much more preferable and makes for a better experience for everyone, but with TG real life does come first and we can make accommodations to a certain extent on an individual basis. If you think there will be a problem, just ask and we might be able to work with you on it.
Willingness to talk, make friends, and contribute to our community
We want people who we can talk to, have a laugh with, and play games with. We also want people who contribute on our forums and add to our community. We strive to build a community that like-minded gamers can be a part of and if you want you can even go above and beyond by joining the casting crew, map making team, tournament organizers, or become a Squad Staff member!
Patience to finish a 20-minute familiarization test
Unlike other teams, we don’t have a skill requirement to join. Instead, we only ask that you take 20 minutes to learn our rules and regulations by taking a "boot camp" test. Please realize that because we cater for 14 different games the test has to be generic; it can’t be specific to SC2 so there are a few questions that don't apply to SC2. This system works very well to filter out trolls, llamas, and haters. This is because if you can't make it through an easy test to learn about the organization, you probably don't belong anyway. So, I'm sure all of you will have no problems with making it through the test into a good friendly environment
Fill out an application, and let 'em know you came from Reddit! Just post here that you have applied so that we can help you through the process if you need it in order to make sure no one falls between the cracks. If you have any further questions feel free to ask them - me and Micro (BNet ID: 187), current leader of Starcraft Division, will be glad to answer them!
Our large member base keeps us on our toes by asking for new features and coming up with exciting new ideas. This is where our Web Team comes in. We have a full staff of talented developers and graphics personnel that work daily on projects to keep our sites on the cutting edge of the gaming community.
Just a fair warning: People will troll you for posting that here.
You see this is NOT a melee forum. This is a custom map forum.
Now there are 2 kinds of custom maps which you may be confusing. There are the so-called "custom maps" that people like IronmanSC make and then there are actual custom maps that deserve the name which have modded or custom units, triggers and serious modifications to core gameplay.
You make no mention anywhere for the second, which this forum serves.
From your post you are strictly a melee clan. I will not troll you because I think it was an honest mistake but no melee promotion will recieve a warm welcome from a good share of the modders on account of the special treatment melee has had over custom maps in the last 2 years.

What site did you rip that from?
I did not rip it from any site. Tactical Gaming does have a large member base with experienced coders and graphics people.
I'm pretty sure Team Recruitment on this site refers to mapmaking teams, not ladder teams.
Why does your site look worse than shit then?
