Hi guys. I have recently started to enjoy music more and more. I know I'm a little young for these bands but I really like Guns n Roses and Europe so far. I'm only 16 but your never to young for epic rock right? Anyway if I gave credit to the creators I use I could use stuff like that in scenarios right? What is your favorite sc2 epic music?
play marine arena while "Final Countdown" plays on a loop in the back. SO amazing. Seriously, try it!
Well, actually, you can't. Copyright isn't about credit, it's all about the money. Internet money, in this case.
As far as I know, you may use under 30 seconds of any copyrighted audio without paying fees - 3 second when talking about video. I think Blizzard is quite uptight about copyright infringement - YouTube style.
Oh, and Final Countdown sounds cool! Now try it with :P
They're much more uptight then youtube about that sort of thing.
Basically if you put anything in a map with the copyright rules, they own it (not you) - it's obvious why they wouldn't want copyrighted music in the maps because of this
