I played my qualification matches and was put in bronze league division rank 99. First I was sad and thought; "damn I must really suck". Some of you might think; "What's the problem, you're just noob". But the thing is I am kinda skilled at SC2, not pro but I know how to play good.
When I played some games now my enemies were always favored but I won every single match. And it wasn't close victories, I totally owned them so I think the matchmaking must have went wrong when I did my qualification matches. This has really destroyed my whole experience and I am dissapointed on blizzard now that I have to slice trough hordes of noobs to get to the place where I should've been and actually could enjoy my time playing.
Its a case of looking at the situation and seeing a glass half-full or half empty. Sure, some aspects of Starcraft 2 are not perfect but then again, is anything perfect?
I assume you threw your placement matches on purpose or just did really bad?. Either way, You will very easily work your way back up.
This is hardly a case where you should feel that your whole experience is "destroyed" or feel dissapointed at Blizzard. I think you are being a tad dramatic.
I did kinda well in my placement matches won 3 out of 5 so no I didn't throw them away and yes my experience is destroyed because I don't have the fatigue to go on there and just play enough boring noob games to rank up...
If you keep playing and owning your opponents hard and they are favored you will actually rank to the next tier very quickly. For example a friend and I have been doing 2v2s we started in silver worked our way up and then got into Gold. Once in Gold we one 5 or 6 games in a row against favored opponents and ranked instantly into Platinum League. So the system seems to account for your skill if you begin to rapidly improve against your opponents.
If you "own noobs" so well I dont see the problem. I do have a problem with people like you though.
My Reasons for having a problem with You (aka whiney bastard)
1. If you cant play the game and enjoy owning people, why the hell are you playing.
2. I doubt you've played that many games considering you havent lost a "noob game" match yet.
3. You "consider yourself skilled". Based on my previous statement you consider yourself skilled but you havent played that many matches. Me thinks you need to play more matches and never "consider" your self skilled any anything.
4. If "owning noobs" ruins your experience playing the game you should prolly just /wrists or uninstall. I think you wil be helping the rest of us enjoy our time on SC2 with you not being there.
5. People who care what thier Division/Rank are imo people who need better things to do with thier life. If you want higher rank play more, end of story.
6. You find "noob games" boring. Why are they noob games. Why does it take you so long to win noob games. If they are boring play them better and WTF PWN people and move on. If its taking you too long to win "noob games" then chances are that you belong in them.
My final conclusion is that you should just STFU and PLAY!!!
And my Last opinion is that you do Edward Elric a disservice by using him as your sig. Yet being a whiney bastard a better sig for you would be.

1. Is it weird that I want even matches?
2. I just qualified and havn't had time to play so many yet, however I can't get myself to play so many when I'm just meeting noobs.
3. You never heard of the beta did you? :)
4. If I had been placed correctly I wouldn't just play against noobs, I would get to fight people around the same skill level as me.
5. The thing with rank and division is that it stops me from playing against equal players. If it weren't for that I wouldn't care at all.
6. It doesn't take me long to win but it bores me.
My final conclusion is that you should just STFU and PLAY!!!
A forum is for talking right? So don't I have the right to come here and tell that the matchmaking bugged for me?
