I used to be able to see custom models and access them, but with patch 1.5, no longer can I find any custom models with the 'cutscene editor' or use them as models. Does anyone know what's wrong?
I assume, you mean custom imported models? It works for me.
The cutscene editor's model list represents the model data objects as opposed to the previewer, which only listed the actual model files. You can switch to files in the cutscene editor, or you can create a model object for the imported model, if that is the issue.

By switching to files do you mean switching the tabs (Models/Sounds/Files/Conversations) to Files or something else?
Exactly that. If you didn't create a model data object for your model file yet, it will not show up in the model list, but only in the files list.
Hmmmmmm.... I still can't find it.
