My map doesn't start automatically when the lobby is full... and I have no idea why.
Anyone have any ideas? It is a max 8 player game, but the main variant only has 4 players. All of the displayed slots will fill up and the game still won't begin until the host presses 'Start'.
Hey there, I had this exact same issue with my map StarDodgeBall. I wanted it to support up to 12 players but the standard game mode was only 8, so it refused to auto-start when the 8 player version got full.
Turns out, Computer players can be used to fill up the slots you won't be using. I just made a separate team with players 9-12 and defaulted them to Computers in the 8-player Variant, and viola-it autostarts! Then I just end the game for them in defeat right when it starts and they no longer pose a problem.
It's not necessarily easy or intuitive, but it can be done that way. I kind of wish there were a better way, but whatever works.
Best of luck!
